Hey everybody, I wanted to formally introduce myself to the community for my first post.
I have actually been lurking here for quite some time and somewhat recently finally made an account (not sure what took so long)
I am proud to say that I have been smoke free for about 4 years now and I owe it to the 'e-cigarette'.
I decided to quit when I found that I could still get my nicotine fix AND that ritual of puffing, getting a throat hit and exhaling a cloud. At that time e-cigarettes were very new and it was the disposable cig-a-likes that were available to me only. Well as bad as they were, at the time they performed well enough to get me started on the journey of a life free of cigarettes.
That led me to v2 cigs where I saw the progression and evolution of the cartomizer followed by the revolutionary (at the time lol) refillable clearomizers. I liked the idea of being able to buy my juice separate and have different atomizers with different juices and different batteries.
I probably stayed with v2 for much longer than I would have as it wasn't until a year or two ago that I found out about the world of egos and tanks and e-juice where I could get different things from different vendors.
Until then I thought I had found the perfect setup. After I put my 'red' 24mg juice into my first real tank and realizing just how bad it was I began trying new juices.
From there I moved very quickly, just like the innovation of the industry, and before I knew it I was rebuilding my own coils and using rta's and rda's.
This forum along with YouTube and the likes taught me so much and has made me 'aware'. I no longer crave nicotine, I crave the taste and the vapor. I crave the ongoing search for the perfect vape.
I am going to end it there as I realize my introduction just turned into my life story, but I am so grateful for this modern day miracle that potentially saved my life and to the community that made it happen. Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the forum. I guess you're a veteran vaper, and a successful one at that.
