Hello everyone at ECF.

Just purchased my first kit (well not really because I had Eversmoke e-cigs previously) but after seeing all my friends with these... upgraded kits, i decided it was time for me to take the plunge.
i went with the Ego twist (1 650 and 1 1000 mAh) and 2 Mini Vivi Novas from Virgin Vapor.
I'm still pretty lost on this whole ohm, volt, clearomizers, cartomizer, etc... but i guess i'll pick it up as i go.

I actually visited some B&M stores nearby, but the 2 i visited did not have what i was looking for.. so i decided i would just buy these and continue using my eversmokes until they arrived... hopefully they won't take too long

can't wait for them to be delivered! :)

You're off to a good start, just started myself about 6 weeks ago and I went with the twists and the larger Vivi Nova and a t3. Both work well, just got an Evod and that's also working well on the twists. Good luck, now you have to find some juices you like. I spend a ton of time reading the posts and blogs on here, it's helped alot.

Welcome to our forum, and a great setup you have.

I have written several articles in my blog dealing with topics such as common juice delivery devices with linked videos to their use, cartomizer setup with video, an ideal starter setup, a review of a popular cartotank and how to choose your first tank, a listing of multiple vendors selling pre-punched cartomizers for tanks, and an editorial about single coil cartomizers vs dual coil carts.

Once you have completed the new member requirement of 5 posts and waited an hour for the forum to reset, you will be able to read these from this link:

I think your friend has his opinion. I like the eGo-W because it has a built in clearomizer. However, ce-4's or ce-5's give alot of vapor. The point is with your ego-c battery, you can get anything to fit on it. Also ohms is resistance on your heating element in what ever vapor device and volts and amps have to do with the power that your battery puts out. As your resistance is lower it takes less amps to heat up the element. You will figure it out quickly. GL

So, my OTHER friend (who's also been vaping for quite some time) has recommended that i purchase a cartomizer and a tank as he feels that the vivi nova minis that i have will have to be refilled too often and "tanks and cartomizers are just better." so what's your take on it guys?

Never seemed like a good idea to have a big hole at the bottom of a tank. But many people like carto-tanks because they keep the atty juicy, where wicks can give an occasional dry hit, if you're not careful.

I am pleased with the mini's, with care the wick-heads can last a month or more. I don't know that cartomizers will last as long.
