ohm label on EVOD atomizer heads?

So I just got my package from MVS full of EVODs and Vivi Nova Minis. I immediately loaded up one of the Vivi Novas with some Best Damn Tobacco juice from Virgin Vapors, and am thrilled to finally be able to chain vape this awesome, albeit extremely thin juice that was flooding my joyetech type A system.

But the EVOD heads don't appear to be labelled at all. I have no idea what ships with these things, or if it's random like the Novas. I also got two each 1.8 and 2.4 ohm to play around, and MVS was nice enough to throw them all in the same bag without a label. Is there any way to tell these things apart?

The Novas have the rating etched on the side, but I'm not seeing any differences on the EVODs, much less a label.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have a multimeter at this point. I didn't figure I'd need one unless I got into rebuildables, and if I ever get a proper mod (probably a Provari) I won't really need one. Right now I'm just using a Twist.

I guess I'll be stopping to get one after work tomorrow. It's not a bad thing to have, anyway, especially as an IT guy.

Mine came with a 2.4 heads installed and I bought a couple 1.8 heads. I took em all out to check the resistance because i had terrible luck with the nova heads being flat out wrong. i was really happy to find that these were accurate, but they definitely need to be marked. Had em all separated waiting to go in their own little bags...turned around for 2 seconds and my cat decided to knock them all on the floor...still can't find one.

I am happy to say I've put 2 weeks on my first 1.8 head and its still going strong. I use it daily, but not all day.

I have to say I'm really disappointed with both the Nova and EVOD. Lots of vapor, but it just doesn't taste very good compared to drip, or the ego-t system I was using. Maybe it's this thinned, naturally flavored, 100% VG juice. I'll have to try them with some cheap 50/50, artificial juice I get locally to see how that compares and go from there.

This came thinned to about the consistency of 100% PG, which is why I got the clearos in the first place. The stuff was just running out of my tank cartridges, and I was already frustrated with quality control on the Joye attys.

I guess it's possible my palate is just blown right now, too. Or maybe it's just my subconscious pushing me to spend more money on tanks and rebuildables :glare:

Been there/am that - Don't let the subconscious side win, it will cost you a fortune.
Have you tried Vaping something with a totally different flavor? Change helps keep the taste buds fresh.
