I have been lurking for awhile and just wanted to say thanks. Today is 2weeks analog free. I had no thoughts at all of quitting smoking. I had already surrendered to the fact that I was a life long smoker. I came across a YouTube video of the Volt and thought it looked cool. So I did some research on it and that brought my to this site. While browsing these forums I noticed that some members had the sigs at the bottom of their post showing how much money they DIDN'T spend on cig's and how many cig's they DIDN'T smoke since converting to vaping and it really made me say WTF!

Needless to say I got the Volt---Then I got Cartomizers--Then I got around 25 ejuices--Then the Kgo---Then LR Cartomizers---then LR atomizers. From there I got cleaner smelling clothes and a kiss from my wife without having to chew gum for ten minutes first. All this from just reading posts on this site. Well not the kiss, Kinda did that on my own.

These forums and it's members have done more for me than Nicotine patches, gum, lozenges and Chantix could do. Only downside is, I now need a different New Years resolution to not follow through with. Oh, I smoked 1.5+ packs a day for over 20 years. Thanks for all the knowledge ECF. You saved my Daughters Daddy's life.

Welcome, I'm new here too, but already found allot of Info I didn't even know I wanted..
I have been vaping for 2 weeks now, and Tobacco free since then, after 40 years of smoking
I started with Blu's that lasted one week, then went to the Ego-1 1000 Mah, and cartos..then to Fluxomizers..and this is where I am now...LOVE the Fluxo's.
I don't even think about Tobacco now..and I started something at work also..3 other people started because of me, and we can use them at work..that helps allot, and I will get a refund from my Insurance company after being tobacco free for 6 months...Way to Easy..lol !!!!...so with that refund I am planning on a Pipe as well as a variable voltage something ??
so Welcome, and Congrats...

Wow 40. Congrats to you. Well said on the "too easy." That is so true. Every other way I tried was such a struggle. I just went to bed hoping when I woke up it would be easier. With this, I don't think I put too much effort into it. This was that effortless.

Congrats and welcome to the ecf, Jerkstore and Montana. Great stories and so glad you were able to make the switch. Montana, make sure your insurance company is specifying only "tobacco-free" and not also assuming that means nicotine-free (unless you are only using 0-mg juice). You will still test positive for nicotine. For many insurance companies that still = smoking.
