So I got my Kanger Evod about a month ago.. and here recently starting having some issues I changed the wicks and stuff for both of my tanks and still having an issue..

It feels like I am getting fluid when I inhale.. I don't know if its because I have changed liquids.. I was using High Caliber 50/50 Green Apple .. Which is AWESOME... then I wanted to try some other flavors.. Coffee.. Vanilla.. both are so so .. I have a couple tobacco flavors that i didnt care for so I tried mixing them with some Zero Nic Lemonade flavor.

I wasnt having any issues with the straight apple flavor or even my orange/lemonade mix.. but the tobacco (High Caliber) mixed with the lemonade feels like its passing liquid.. I can't tell exactly if it is or its just the flavor I am getting but it gives me a feeling on the tongue that it is getting liquid.. I am even getting the same feeling from all my liquids.. Dont know what to do or if its just in my head bc I have run paper towel and q tip in the head and it doesnt collect liquid.. is it me or could the tanks (both of them) be leaking.

When you feel that way, turn it upside down (over paper towel) and see if you get anything more than some condensation out. A little condensation (not liquid) is normal. I have heard that some people get a little leaking if they move from a high temperature area to a cool/cold one. I've gotten a bit of liquid on the tongue if I drag too hard, too often or if I am running higher wattage than normal (mine is 8 watts).

Hi and welcome to the site

so all your stuff is new ? you said 'both' I'll take that as meaning you got a Kanger EVOD kit ?
you then got a 5 pack of replacement coils ? (howI'mdoing)

don't be afraid of the evod, take it apart-find a place to stand the tank up, mouthpiece down
(a hole somewhere so you can, if wanted, save the juice inside, or just dump it and rinse it out too)

now on to the bizzness end-- rinse the "BASE" out/off with HOT water
clean that bad boy real good then spin the coil out and rinse some more
make sure you pee right down that center chimney(you'll see it pee out the bottom)
you usually can watch your discolored wick ends sticking out turn back to white
that's it, blow it dry -- if you need it put it back in and use it, if you have another coil handy
as a back up, use that one and allow the one you just cleaned to dry
continue this till, it/they will not work anymore, then either rebuild them or buy new ones...(total time 1-2min)

if you think YOU HAVE FLUID somewhere in the air path
again don't be afraid, find that hole again, screw the base off, stick your tank with fluid in there
and work on your base -- wipe it off, blow it out, shine it up, what ever, takes 22 seconds, simple
screw base back on, LIKE NEW :2cool:
