Guys, I'm all new to the e-cig thing.
I had no idea I could build a custom smoke piece. That's great but I have a lot to learn.
First, whats the difference between a Atomizer and a Cartomizer ?
What extras would I need to purchase to get the VAMO up and running ? I'm guessing it does not come with liquid, batteries and charger.
Is the Cartomizer included or do I have to buy that separate too.
Thanks everyone.

Some starter kits come with cartomizer, eliquid, etc and some don't. I personally prefer to pick my own accessories. Here's my suggestion on the Vamo:

VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2

Efest 18350 IMR battery (800mAh) (you will need two sets of these, one set for using, one for standby/charging - 4 total)

TrustFire TR-001 Lithium ion Battery 2 Channel Charger

Tank and tank cartomizers:

Non-Tank Cartomizer:

If you don't want to mess with the tank just yet, I would suggest getting some of these as a good starting point:

And some eliquid. I would start out with 18mg - 24mg nicotine strength eliquid and adjust up or down from there. But don't start too low or you may struggle. I would get several smaller bottles to start and see what you like before buying larger bottles. I would also get a 510 atomizer to drip eliquid on (3 - 4 drops) to test new flavors. Here is an example:

You could get all of your supplies from exhale vapor (or another supplier) and get a vivi nova clearomizer tank. I prefer cartomizer tanks, so that is why I provided the second web site.

If you do get the Vamo, MAKE SURE, you set it to RMS (N02) mode and ajust the power in wattage. If you use the 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers, most vapers set their power level with these between 11.0 - 12.0 watts. Since the atomizer I suggested for testing eliquid is a 2.0 ohm single coil, set your power to about 7.0 watts with this atomizer.

Hope this isn't all too confusing.

Good Luck

Thanks buddy
I've spend the last several hours watching videos on you tube.
Some of those things look so time consuming I'm going to need another unit to puff on while re-filling/rebuilding.
My junk Blu e-cig gave out already. You would think they would make them last as long as a normal pack.

There are sooo many different juice delivery systems out there. The Vision brand Vivi Nova is very user friendly and quite economical to use.

Edit:
If you do buy the Vamo well worth paying extra for SS as the other finishes do not wear well- easily scratches and finish wears off. Here's the Vivi Nova. Make absolute sure it's the Vision brand. I use the Vision Mini Vivi 2.0 ml as it seems to not have the same wicking issues as the larger 3.5 ml.

You will most likely move upto the vamo at some point, but for now I suggest getting a couple ego twist or vision spinner batteries variable voltage gives you more options and is a great mid point for vaping. I prefer clearomizers like vivi nova minis really hard to flood and don't leak along with great vapor and taste using a 2.4ohm head at 4.2 - 4.4v depending on the juice.

I wish I had done more research when I bought my first kit. If I did, I might have bought something like...
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

That's the kit I got in the mail this morning. I charged the battery, took the top of a V2 clearomizer, filled it with juice and I was vaping in no time. No issues, not had an analogue all day, minimal cravings... I've already taken the clearomizers apart and cleaned them and tried 4 juices so far, had to throw a couple of ml of the peach one away (going to put it in the back of the closet and revisit it in a week or so)
All in all, I am very happy with this kit, batteries seem pretty well made, nice solid feel to the threads and the variable voltage dial on the bottom. Shipping was fast, decent price, and it can take both eGo and 510 so I can order that pro tank I've wanted since I first came onto the forum.
Now to find my juice...

I finally got my Vamo from China (3 weeks).
I'm not sure if I got the knock off Vivi Nova or not. All I know is it will stop working after several hard puffs. I was thinking maybe the Vamo shuts down to keep things cool, kind of like a circuit breaker. At this point, I don't know honestly. What ever the case, I switched my tank with a iClear30. I have to say that the iclear30 is awesome!! I coughed like I was smoking for the first time. Throat hit was great and my eyes watered. To any one who has not tried the iClear30, do yourself a favor and buy one. They're great!

THIS is an awesome kit. I got it in the mail yesterday, and I love it. They let you customjze the kit so you can try a twist and a spinner in different mah, and you can pick two different clearos. Definitely recommend this to any newbie. Wish I had got it before I wasted all that money on the bloog kit.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. I think a good starter setup on a budget would be a few evods, spare coils, a few vv batteries such as the ego-c twists or vision spinners, charger and juice. A step up would be something like a vamo and a protank. Or if you want to spend some money get a provari, a few batteries, a nice charger, a few protanks, and some juice.... But I really like the evods for something smaller and they work pretty good on a vv ego style battery.
