Im 2 days into my vaping and I ordered a VGO2 starter kit from Jacvapour and im not thinking I need a cig...im thinking I will vape for 5 mins.

I know now that it might not be the very best starter kit due to the restrictions about 808 and 510...but I can only speak from experience and this IS working for me. Ive tried e-lite cig lookalikes and having a proper ecig is a different ball game....im not saying it will work for everyone obviously but me and my GF have not had a cig for 2 days and we both started smoking 20 years ago...jeez i sound old..im 37!

I got the mini version....probably should of got the bigger battery size...but the hit is great..

A warning though, long term I will probably move on from Jacvapour due to having to buy everything from them (apart from liquid) but to be honest that doesnt really matter at the moment as im going to save a stupid amount of money even if I just bought everything from them instead of smoking...hope this helps abit!

A good setup to start with I found:
1300 mah vision spinner X2
vivi nova tanks 3.5 X2
extra atty heads X5
ego/510 wall/usb charger
Mt. Baker Vapor Juices

What you really need when coming offa smokes is consistancy. I started dabbling in e cigs 2 years ago with cigarrette replica type e-cigs.... like sucking a golf ball through a garden hose and very inconsistant. The setup I used to get back into vaping(above) gives you the same vape damn near every time..... the same thing cigs gave you, only better. Good luck. :vapor:

The blog post I just wrote is on exactly this subject, and it gives some links to a UK company that I use.

How To Start Vaping - Soronlin

tl;dr
Start with an eGO/510 battery and one pack of pre-filled cartomisers. Vape them until they are empty, then get some eliquid and refill them. Then try out clearomisers. That gets you into vaping with the minimum of wasted cost and the easiest learning curve.

Each cartomiser is worth about six cigarettes, whatever the man in the shop or the writing on the pack says. So even as an occasional puff, they won't last long. As soon as you notice the flavour change to something a little smokey and acrid, stop and change to a new one. Do Not Throw The Old One Away. If you were to keep buying cartomisers, then every three of them, about £5 worth, would be the equivalent of a pack of 20. You're already saving money. But it will get even cheaper.

By the time you've finished all five cartomisers, you will probably know if vaping is for you. Or at least if you're willing to give it a bit longer to prove itself.

I like you already! :)

JUICE !

Paradise Vape UK

Why this place in particular ?, well because they supply juice in, 100% vg, 50/50, or mostly pg. Nearly all other vendors don't give you the option of 100vg, and if they do, i haven't found them. So this is a great site for e liquid solutions at a reasonable price with nicotine levels up to 36mg.

I recommend them too. You always get a sample or two with your order as well.

You should start a new thread.... or you might get missed....

Or, there's a Canadian forum area too. :)

Yes the e-cigarettes are rubbish, you need to get a real Vaper, a starter kit or something. I tried an e-light cig ages ago and it was useless.

My advise is create a new thread on here, ask questions, buy a starter kit (a decent one). Vaping is totally different to an e-cig alike and my 2 day old experience tells me...it might actually work and get me off the cigs completely!

Most beginners seem to want to start with "cigalike" type (small stick style batteries that closely resemble cigs) Personal Vaporizers (PV) and almost always end up upgrading to a larger battery within a few weeks

try to find an ego style VV (variable voltage) battery in the 900-1100 mah range (mah is how big the battery is and how long the charge will last before needing to be recharged - 2 are recommended - one to use while the other is charging) or the Innoken VV3 (800 mah but can be used as a pass through (you can use it while it is charging))

for the eliquid delivery get a good clearo or tank - these are available in bottom coil (better wicking but a cooler feeling vape) or top coil (warmer vape but need to be inverted or "twirled" to keep the wicks working properly - very easy to get used to)

as far as eliquid is concerned if you smoked quite a bit you will want to start in the 18-24mg range
I don't recommend flavors as that is subjective to every individual but if you are looking for an eliquid that tastes exactly like a cigarette you will be disappointed - there are some that are close but hardly ever are they exact - go for the non traditional cigarette flavors and embrace the fruits and dessert flavors (I snacked less when I started vaping)

Nic absorption with vaping is slower than with cigarettes so don't expect an immediate nic "buzz" like you get with cigarettes (vaping = larger nic molecules = slower absorption - smoking = smaller molecules with nasty additives = faster absorption

hope this helps

This is so very true. I just bought a basic smoov kit,( it ran me $67 total ) YESTERDAY and I'm going to be going to the smoov rev 1300 mAh this weekend when my hubby goes to get himself a pv lol. I like the feel of the smoov in my hand and the rev is a little fatter but not too bad from what I see. I will be able to adjust how much vapor I blow out that way. I like the dessert flavors rather than the tobacco flavors. I was able to sample as many as I chose until I found the one flavor I most preferred. Now I hardly put down my pv lol.
i tried the blu as we'll and hated it with a passion but I'm loving this vaping. Haven't smoked a real cig in 24 hours!!! :vapor::)
