I really wish esmoking was around when I quit. I used the patch and it was hell.

While I'm bumping my post count (thanks Jenny!) I do have a legit question..how come the LTv9 cartridges have such low rating nicotine on them compared to the numbers I see posted for the juice.

I believe the LT carts go up to 16mg while the other juice goes to 36m. Are the LT carts more efficient at delivery, are the ratings interpreted differently or are the LT carts just plain weaker?

The LT cartridges are kinda stingy on the nicotine strength because you are getting a huge ton of vapor at once, and it's easy to over dose on even low strengths.

Or at least, that's the theory, and in my experience it's a pretty accurate theory. ;) I usually vape low or medium anyway, though, so some of you heavyweights may not have a problem.

Anyway, you CAN get LT compatable carts of 24mg strength if you order straight from e-cig.com. Or, for a higher cost, you can special order them from Red Dragon.

E-smoking holds real promise for me with regard to compulsion: I get to buy stuff, this stuff requires ritualistic maintenance and internet research, and there is an e-forum full of kindred spirits. What more do I want? And I can't wait to have a counter in my signature.

Another noob here and that is exactly my take on this Vape thing. My wife [Gawd bless 'er] asked me to research e-cigs for a friend of hers who is really ill and just has to stop smoking.

i pride myself on being able to find stuff on the interweb [?] and the more i discovered about this habit, the more i thought "Hello, this looks like my kinda thing."

Hardline smoker of rollups and pipes for 40 years, addictive/obsessive personality and i get to play with gadgets.

i had no intention of actually stopping smoking, but i have since yesterday and if people tell you that vaping is better than smoking, they aint lying. i love it.:)

On a side note, i think the nicotine is causing me to right walls of text.

Welcome to the forum. Plenty to do and see here.:)

Danyel, how'd you get it on a Sunday? I'm so jealous

Mungo, Amen! On previous quit attempts, I just felt so compulsive-d up with nothing to do. The behavioral/personality thing just doesn't go away, I can do high-maintenance gadgets and compulsively shop for them--no problem. So have you had/wanted any analogs?

No darling i'm cool. :)

My wife reminded me that the compulsion to smoke or do anything bad, would only last 2 minutes and then subside and she's right for once.

But like i said before, i really dig vaping, analogs last longer coz you don't get such a nicotine hit, but i can live with that.:)

i'm using the Evo which i'm happy with but just put an order in for the Janty Kissbox which the guys here rave about being more like real smoking than anything else. [And that plugs into my computer! How cool is that!?]:D
