New member..lovin' my e-cig!

HI everyone! So for the hundreth time I put on a nicoderm patch on Jan 1st. After a week on that with no cigs smoked I thought it time for another approach. So I purchased one of those disposable e-cigs I saw advertised somewhere. I just wanted to see what the vapor was like, and see if I thought ecigs was something I could do. I took off the patch and puffed on the disposable for a few days. It didn't taste that great, and I wasn't overwhelmed by it but I did notice one thing.. I didn't crave an analog!!

So next I purchased a 901 USB passthrough, found this forum..and Backwoods Brew, Tasty Vapor...and OMG!! No analogs since Dec 31st and I'm loving this juice!

I'm still experimenting with different strengths, and VG/PG combos, and flavors...but I am really in shock that I DO NOT CRAVE AN ANALOG!

Hey, congrats! I hope to soon be in the same situation because I am about to place my first order. This place is amazing, I agree. I found so much more useful information here than in the week I spent researching ecigs online. Keep up the good work now I'm off to place an order!

Welcome to both new members! We are pleased as punch you've found us. Ecf is a great place to learn and share experiences. Ecigs seem to be catching on quicker and quicker and it is because they work! And with all the great flavors out there, you have a lot of experimenting to do. But enjoy and ask questions. Remember there are NO dumb questions.
I smoked close to 2 pad for 40 years, sometimes on stressful days close to 4 pad. Ecigs and this forum have saved my life, literally.

It is odd as time passes. You sorta quit, but not exactly quit. You go years without smoking a cig, but you don't have the withdrawls. You buy mod after mod and cartomizer after cartomizer and you get to a point where cigs have absolutely no power over you anymore.

The most amazing thing about e-cigs IMO is that the longer you vape the less you are addicted. That's been my experience and I've read other's threads stating that too... These days (11 months later) I rarely even bring my e-cig with me when I go out because I don't really need it, I just enjoy it. It's like e-cigs turned my smoking habit into what I always wished it could be; a relaxing pastime, a hobby, an enjoyable thing that I do -- it's not an emergency anymore, it's a pleasure.

And on top of that, cigarettes have become so horrid that I couldn't go back now even if I wanted to. I'm CURED!
