Hi All,

Brand new member here; just thought I'd say Hi and see if anyone had any tips on variable voltage and the mini nautilus. I've been browsing this forum quite a while and thought it was time to actually register.

I've been vaping a while now and wanted to move onto something a bit more adjustable. My gf got me an eleaf istick battery and a mini nautilus for christmas but I've been having problems since day one. I followed all the instructions in the box and even let the juice soak for over an hour but all I'm getting is a horrible burnt taste.

It came fitted with a 1.8 BVC coil which showed up on the Battery as "No Atomiser" so I swapped to the spare 1.6 coil but this seems to only create the horrible taste. Tried 2 different liquids both 50/50 6mg and still no change plus I'm finding it really hard to draw on the mini nautilus. I've searched for answers but just wondering if anyone had any advice? I've ordered replacements coils to see if I might have had 2 dud coils in the pack.

Any help would be great
Dan

Fill the nautilus, then drop a couple drips of juice directly into the top of the coil before you put it together, then leave it to sit upright for a good 10-15mins, after that take a couple pulls covering and uncovering the air hole (you will see air bubbles coming from the coil) once all that is done set your Istick to the lowest wattage and turn the air flow on your nautilus to the largest hole and you have a well primed coil and a base starting point, want more flavour? Turn the air flow down, more vapour? Turn the power up a little

Bad BVC coils (dud, rubbish, not working) seem very rare with BVC.

I started with 4 (included), bought two extra packs (10), 5 from Vampire Vape and 10 from Fasttech. That's 24 in total. I've had just the one that wasn't spot on; it worked but was a little weak for no reason.

I prime them and vape them within 5 minutes. I drip quite a bit of liquid into them (directly onto the mesh) before assembling the base and tank. I also cover most of the hole and suck to get air bubbles.

Do what cowboy said. That is what's called "priming". You can just leave it to soak but it will take a good 24 hours to get fully saturated that way. I vape my 1.8s at 15-20 watts and haven't had a dry hit issue even with high VG juices. Once you get it working properly you'll love it, best small clearo tank on the market IMO, great throat hit.
