Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and comments/advise.
I did have a great visit with the good folks at my local vape shop today.
One of the owners took another look at my eVic-VTC Mini75watt and
since it came with extra coils, he installed the titanium coil with original tank,
and set it up for temperature settings instead of wattage.

With it set on 400 degrees, using the 6mg juice I already had.
It is now the smoothest vaping I have experienced so far. Even though I had been hitting
the Ileaf 20 watt unit, a few hits from the eVic left me light headed. It really brought the
nicotine out.

After using it for the last 12 hours or so. (I work nights, so am nocturnal now) It has
been more like smoking. I can take a few hits from it and I am satisfied, much like it was
when I would smoke half a cig. which is all my lungs would allow most of the time.

I see no need at this time to increase the nicotine content on the juices I am using
as I had mentioned earlier.

I do appreciate those of you who mentioned mixing my own e-juice. I had already started
to research that aspect. I will continue to read about it here on the forum and once I have
sufficient privilege to get access to the vendors who support the forum. I will give it a go.
I too am concerned about big gov. and their sin taxes which I am sure will
be coming.

I do intend to stockpile both the electronics and supplies as I go. But I need to learn
more about it first, so the money is spent wisely.

While I am breathing much better, (more so than I would have imagined) one of the
neatest side benefits I have noticed so far is, No More Filthy Ashtrays!!

Thanks again, and Happy New Year to all of you!

Glad you got a nice satisfying Vape.

Check out the DIY forum here.

Agreed spend the money wisely.
All I can do is tell you what I did.

No need to stockpile the following because they are needed by multiple industries.

Cotton balls cotton is needed for clothing and ladies to remove their makeup.
VG needed in the wine production, soap production, hand lotion, as a sweetener

PG needed in flavor extracts and asthma inhalers.

18650 batteries needed for flashlights and in power modules for cordless drills screwdrivers, circular saws.

Here is what I stockpiled

Kanthal wire for vaping. I bought 500 feet 26 gauge Kanthal.

I use two RTAs Silverplay Nano and Goblin Mini. I have five RTAs in a drawer. Three Silverplay Nanos and two Kayfuns. The SP Nano for full lung hits, and Kayfuns for mouth to lung. All of them are clones and $10 or less from fasttech.

Flavoring for ejuice.
Nicotine for ejuice

I use two mods for vaping Istick60tc, and eVic VTC MINI

For backup I have one mod in a drawer Cloupor Mini Plus I won here at ECF. Last night I bought the Wotofo tiny.

Not counting the flavoring and nicotine in the freezer. This was about $300. There are some people pay that much for one mod or two attys.

Everything was inexpensive gear and I know what to expect

If the FDA makes a bad decision and they try to kill vaping; I may be unable to get VG by the gallon and PG by the quart. I will be able bto get small bottles of them. 3 120 ml bottles of VG and 1 120 ml bottle PG will make ejuice to last me more than 6 months.

You say that these are clones, are all the box mods clones also? I was interested in getting more
of the eVic VTC MINI and tanks for them.

It sounds like you are stocking stuff for dripping.
A lot of the folks at the local shop is dripping. I will eventually try it, looks like
it would be nice when lounging around the house.
Can't see ever giving up the tank though.
In the mean time, I will enjoy the two I have now.
Thanks again, and Happy New Year!
Edit: Thanks for the link.

No the mods are genuine. The attys are clones.

The Goblin Mini ls a clone I got it on eBay.

The Silverplay Nanos are clones. I paid $10.07 at Fasttech.

The Kayfuns are clones I paid about $10 for on Fasttech.

I got the Kayfun bases then I got Bell cap kits to go on the bases. The Bell.

If memory serves the bases were a bit over $4:each. And the Bell cap kits have the barrel and Nano chimney that goes over the build then screw the Bell cap onto the base remove the screw in the base and fill through the hole in the base. These hold about 3 ml of juice. The Goblin Mini holds 3 mls of juicd and the Silverplay Nano holds 3.5 ml.

No sir they are not drippers.

They is in a branch if vaping called RBAs (ReBuildable Atomizers) thus means i am responsible for wrapping the coils and wicking them.

Then the RBA field is subdivided into two or more sub categories.

RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers. This sub division is divided into the drippers and squonkers.

Drippers are where you drip ejuice into the atty. The wick wicks the juice and brings it into the coil.

Squonkers are reverse drippers. They have a soft plastic bottle that holds the juice. When the wick starts getting dry squeeze the bottle And force more ejuice through the hollow 510 pin into the atty.

RTAs are Rebuildable Tank Atomizers.

Thus sub division are tanks that you wrap the coils and wick them. Some hold very littke juice and others holds massive amounts of juice. Usually between 2.5 and 8 mls.

If you want to you can divide this subdivision into RTAs and Genesis Atomizes.

the Subtank Nano and the Aspire Nautilus, Eleaf and others use premade coils.

RTAs have no place to screw the coils into. You have to do your own coil wrapping and wicking them abd either trap the leads under screw heads as in the Kayfun, or they have post holes for the leads the Orchid, Goblin Mini and Silverplay Nano use the post holes to hold the leads of the coil.

Hope this helped.

Wow it certainly did. Great to know you can use a tank with a rebuild able
coil. I will be looking more into the RTA's. I have watched folks wrap coils for drippers.
It can't be much different for the rta.
I will look here on the forum and you tube.

Thanks for taking the time, it is much appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time, it is much appreciated.

Glad I could help you out brother.

I started vaping in the eVod clearomiser. Then the Kanger Subtank Nano. I even wrapped horizontal coils in the OCC heads for it Rip Trippers has a stupid simple vid on YouTube showing how to do that. If you want to watch that. After rebuilding those a few months I wanted better flavor so I got two drippers the Magma and Veritas. Me a flavor chaser went to the N22, Freakshow Mini, then the Rogue just to get away from all of the leaks and errors with drippers and the necessity of always carrying a bottle of juice to drip every few minutes.

I thought I finally had clearomisers and tanks in the rearview mirror.

Then I started hearing the reviewers rave about the Goblin Mini. So I bought a cheap clone and it simply blew me away.

The flavor was just as good as the best drippers I had ever used and better than most.

Then Korean Vet friend Jim G had gotten a Kayfun Lite Plus with Nano chimney and PMMA Bell cap. He wanted my help to set it up and I'll be darned if the flavor wasn't almost as good as the Freakshow Mini and Rogue my two favorite drippers.

So I figuratively kicked the drippers to the curb. This little $10 RTA blew my authentic Veritas, Magma and others out of the water, and I didn't have to drip any more or wait for a red light before I could drip.

Then I learned about gently removing the gunked up wick, dry burning the coil installing another wick. Juicing up the wick and now my coils last 2 1/2-3 months.

Now u LOVE MY VAPE especially with my Silverplay Nano under the Bell cap. Flavor is awesome, the ability to remove my build without having to dump my juice, full from the bottom without va tool, etc.

While some folks vape to quit smoking, I have no real intentions to quit. I am vaping
to get off tobacco. I have smoked for 41 years. I enjoy it. It is my hope that vaping wil
simply replace it.
It completely replaced tobacco for me, one of the biggest reasons I made the switch was because I was pretty sure I was starting to get COPD, the cough I had is gone, I haven't had a smoke in 11 months now, I have no intentions of quitting either, I like smoking as well that's probably why other methods like the patch or gum etc never worked for me. I've settled at about 5mg.. I vape more like when I smoked, I'd smoke until my nicotine levels were high enough then stop, good way to get to that level is to stand up, it opens up your diaphragm and lets you take in a bit more air without really trying.

Congrats on cutting down on smoking that much! Sounds like your set up now.

@Asylumsix the reason so many smoking cessation methods fails is because they do on of vtwo things.

1 try to replace the nicotine in patches and gums.

2. Hypnosis reprograms the subconscious mind away from smoking.

Neither one worked for me.

What makes vaping so special is two things.

1. A complete replacement for smoking.

It gives the body nicotine.

The vapor feels like smoke in the throat and lungs.

The nicotine and Propylene glycol gives the throat hit you are used to.

bringing the device to the lips reinforces the muscle memory of smoking.

Lastly the ability to take baby steps with lowering the nicotine is a much better way to get off nicotine.

If you are vaping at 18 mg as I was. When you get two bottles the same flavor one 18 mg and one 12 mg. Pour both into a larger bottle shake well and when you start vaping that larger bottle of juice you have stepped from 18 mg to 15 mg. When you get used to 15mg and think you can step down again move to the 12 mg, then mix the 6 and the 12 and you are vaping at 9 mg. Just keep taking baby steps until you're off.

I DIY NY ejuice and with the ejuice calculator I was able to take tiny steps 1 mg at a time until I got to 0 nic. Been at 0mg for a week and doing fine.

I have 0 intention of stopping vaping because if I stop and I start dealing with stressful situations I will find a smoke shop and get hooked again .

To put it bluntly I AIN'T EVER GOING BACK!

Thank you, I do feel like I am set up. I am getting the nicotine my body craves, and
still getting to experience the act of smoking. Which I find in itself relaxing.

My very first vape of the day his morning was a little harsh, I was using the
VTC mini. I just grabbed the 20 watt ileaf running at 12 watts, and it was
smooth and cool. I hit it a few times and then tried the VTC about an hour later
and it was fine.

As for right now, I can't say if I will start cutting back on the nicotine any time soon.
I think it is best that I don't at this time, and I am perfectly fine with that.
I am sure I will know when and if the time comes.

At first, I would vape for long periods of time. Since the VTC is working good, it is
starting to be more like having a smoke. I can take 6-8 hits and put it down for a good
period of time.

I have begun to stop reaching for my lighter as I get ready to vape.
One of my coworkers saw me get out my lighter the other day and said
"what are you expecting to do with that?".
I looked down and saw I had the lighter in my right hand and the vape in
the left, gave us both a chuckle.
Old habits die hard I guess. (but some WILL DIE)
