What setup are you using now? I mean, I vape at low watts on single coils, mostly 2 ohm and above. I feel like I have a pretty cool mild vape, but some people aren't into that.

If you tell us what you are currently vaping with, people might be able to recommend something that could work well for you.

Sorry about the COPD. Hopefully quitting the cigs will help your lungs heal or stop them from getting worse.

One option that has worked for a friend of mine with COPD is to simply puff like one does on a cigar, without inhaling. Minimal irritation, and most of the nicotine is absorbed through the tissues, not the lungs, so the nic is still there. Good luck!

I have COPD and Asthma, and this is exactly what I do when having any issues. You can also try turning down your voltage/wattage settings or using a longer drip tip.

Turn down the wattage and mouth to nose exhale. I have a friend with COPD that has been off analogs for 5 years, vaping for 5 years that does this. It took some getting used to for him but the nasal membranes are AWESOME for passing nic to the bloodstream. If you have to lung hit, I'd go for some simple flavored 50/50ish ratios with a couple drops of saline in every tank - the key is though - you'll HAVE to lower your wattage if you want the coughing to stop or become less of an issue.

I hate to say it (I really do) but there is no magic formula for getting your lungs to cooperate with your habit/hobby. If you body is doing everything it can to inform you that you shouldn't be putting "stuff" into your lungs - you're going to have to sit down and have a long conversation with yourself...

I am just finishing week 12 of non smoking after 55 years of puffing away a pack and a half a day. My doctor tells me I have COPD, and I have always had bronchitis. I use a 70/30 Pg/Vg 1.2% nic mix in a protank 3, 1.5 Ohm coil at 7.5 watts. First thing in the morning I have to take very small light puffs to get started or I will choke/cough. I slowly increase the amount of vapor as the day wears on. It is working for me I keeps me in a happy place not even thinking about cigarettes.

I have copd from heavy smoking for over 41 years. I'm vaping at relatively low wattage, mouth to lung although it can be hard on me. I'm just getting the hang of vaping, really, as a substitute for the cigarettes. It certainly tastes a lot better. I'm using an mvp 20w and an istick 30w at about 10 watts, with protank 3 and I'm soon to try out my nautilus tank. I have been chain vaping because I used to chain smoke. And I do mouth to lung even though I probably shouldn't inhale.
