That's known as dripping- drip a few drops on the atomizer/ element and vape. Great vape BUT have to constantly re drip on the atty. Also good attys are very expensive and they need to be cleaned regularly. See my earlier post about diff delivery systems.

Hey I found this video on youtube, from someone on ECF Cartomizer - Cartridge - Drip Tip & The Difference - YouTube. She is using an Ego, but I'm not quite sure what she has on top of it? I like the setup she has. Is the entire top the drip tip setup? Or is it just the black plastic bit on the top?

Hey you've been a huge help! Along with everyone else that has posted. I watched that video, and a few others from him, and have decided on what I'd like to get, but I'd like your (or anybody else's opinion). Here is a KGO starter kit from darkcityvapor.com. SLB KGO Starter Kit.
I'm just not sure if it has everything that it needs. I don't see anything about an atomizer. It has a drip tip, 2x 1100 MAH KGo batteries, 2x cones, fits 510 boges. If you can see or tell that there is an atomizer in that package please let me know.

wow that's great! Dark city Vapor is where I got my Kgo kit too. Very happy. Now Bill is occasionally online at the website & he can help you. Order some of his juice too. I like his French Vanilla Cappecino mostly vg. He will send you a sample juice too.
As for atomizers. Kit does not come with them. So that would be a separate order. ECF folks have recommended LR 306 atties to me but I have not used atties yet...only cartomizers. Another learning curve with atties.

Yep. The cartomizers in the kit aren't good.
But get the Smoketecks that are in the drop down box on the kit & the drip tip in drop down box. You won't need an extra shorty cone yet.
That + juice will get you started!

Yep Smok Tech 1.7 XL single coil cartos are the best ones for the Kgo. Unfortunately many are reporting QC probs with both Boge and Smok Tech cartos. I don't know as I ordered a large quantity awhile ago for converts and myself am happy with the Clearos.

Atomizers will give the best vape but you have to constantly refill them, they're expensive and requires lots of cleaning. I only use attys for testing juices. I DIY all my juice. I now use clearomizers but add extra flavor because ALL tank systems will mute the flavor. Thicker VG heavy and darker juices will clog delivery systems quicker than light juices.

No because they have filler in them. DCV has clearomizers BUT they are the older version with short wick which has wicking problems and they are not rebuildable:

Oh sorry I was asking about the new Clearomizers you sent me a link to, I just watched a video on them, they actually look really nice. Seem a lot easier to clean than the ones I saw earlier (they must be the old ones). I may end up ordering that clearomizer kit from sweet-vapes instead.

Yeah you just soak them in PGA for a couple of hours, rinse and let dry overnight. Next day do a dry burn and you're good to go. BUT understand ALL tanks, clearos will mute the flavor somewhat. I would suggest start with the 1.7 cartos, get used to vaping and decide from there.
