Hey everyone!

I would just like to say hello everyone and ask a few questions. I've been vaping for a a few years now, Just been using the Ego, I've bought about 6 since i've started and I love them! (Haha no hate please) I want to move forward to a better vape with bigger clouds! Since im in this for the fun and not for the addiction (E-cigs helped me quit!) But I would really appreciate someone to direct me to a forum post or inform me on a nice vape.

Since I just bought the starter kits I never really got into "mods" I would like to know what this means as well!!!

Thanks in advance!!!!!!:2cool:

Oh boy! There is no end to the choices. It really depends on what you like or functions you want.

If you don't want to spend to much, check out the Itaste MVP 2 only $40 from Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape
I got mine a week ago and I am loving it!

If money is no problem you can order a Provari, American made and very highly regarded on the forum (by most people anyway).

The MVP 2 fits in my pocket pretty good. It's actually 1/4 of an inch shorter than a 1300 Vision spinner. It's really smaller than the pictures make it out to be. I can almost hide it in my hand. I do admit the "box" does take a little getting used to. I like the Provari's too and will probably get one when tax season comes around.

Thanks for the reply smokin cat! I really like the Provari Id look into it in the future! But I dont like the shape of the itaste, I like carrying around my vape in my pocket.

The MVP fits in a pocket just fine. I carried mine around all day today and not a problem.

And, welcome to the forum. ;)

There are a bunch of great mod's out there in the 40-60 range like the MVP 2.0 that Bt mentioned. I happen to have one of those as well. I wasn't keen on box mods initially but once I got one in my hand, my opinion changed. It's a great form, and fits in the palm nicely...smaller than it looks in pics. If it's still not your cup of tea......I picked up a Sigelei zmax v5 this last weekend, and love it, it's a telescope, so it fits all kinds of batter configurations, so you can get the size down quite a bit, or stretch it out for some nice battery life. The Vamo v5 is also one to look at in that range as is the SID. Welcome to the forum, and enjoy your search branching out from the ego's! I've only been vaping for a couple months now, but made the moves from ego style for battery life and varriable wattage, nice to have a built in ohm meter, etc etc. If you havn't taken the time, I'd recommend watching some of Phil Busardo's videos, just look him up on you tube or take a trip direct to his site. All kinds of great reviews on all the devices we just mentioned.

Welcome Vapistt
As far as other types of units go... there must be about 397 of them. Some things to consider when upgrading to something bigger.
Size - diameter, can be as thin as a Blu or 1"+ this is driven by battery diameter
Length - this depends on tank size and unit size once again pretty much determined by battery for example a Vamo3 with 2 18650 batteries can be 14" long ( tank included) and .9" dia.
Battery life - ( time between charges) 1000mAh and less will need charging most likely more than once a day with typical use, 2000mAh batteries will normally last about a full day of usage 3000mAh can last 2 days ( this is for regulated units not mechanical sub ohm)

Mods ( term for modified units or mechanical units, basically anything that doesnt look like a cigarette :) )
As far as Vapor production increases, this is a balance of heat/coil surface contact to wick/airflow across coil.
If you are looking for "fog machine" output, than a Mechanical unit is in your future.
Visit Fasttech's website look under consumer electronics for electronic cigarettes and take a couple of hours and look at all the goodies offered.

Here is a good shopping site with best deals on mods

Definition : Mod – Dual usage – Can be used to describe modifications to a device or accessory (such as getting more vapor production out of your cartridges) or a design variation of a commonly manufactured electronic cigarette. In the latter context, mods typically use larger rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries and allow the user longer battery life and increased vapor production but at the cost of the device looking like a traditional cigarette. Many mods will also allow the user to increase or decrease the voltage of their device to achieve optimal performance.

I'm not ready to start carrying around a flashlight or cough drop box yet but I am learning more about the options. I did try, successfully, swapping out the silica wicks in my EVOD & Protank heads with cotton and was very impressed with the flavor & vapor increase. I have been DIYing my own liquid for about 6 weeks so that also fulfills my "tinkering" obsession without the risk of blowing myself up. I still take a peek at every new "mini" mod, though and I've had the iTaste VV 3 in a shopping cart more than once. That itty bitty Provari might be under the tree for Christmas 2014 and a couple of iTaste VV 3's might find their way to my mailbox before then.
