New member needs new supplier (issues with vapor kings)

Hello there all.

I've been an ecig smoker for about a year and a half now. I've always ordered from Vapor Kings but the last three atomizers I have ordered have been complete duds. When I contacted Rob, he told me I needed to mail the atomizers back to him so he could "look" at them. This was unacceptable to me as I've been a loyal customer for over a year.

The model I use is the DSE901 Mini. I cannot seem to find a supplier that offers these that has a decent reputation. Can any of you suggest a good, reliable retailer that I can switch too please? I have been using an atomizer that is 2 months old and is about to burn out on me.

Thanks a bunch.

Sarah

wow thanks for the quick replies everyone.

I do understand that most people want you to send them back, but I just feel that it would be cheaper and take less time to order a new atomizer. (which is exactly what I did the last three times. I never even said anything about the other atomizers because I'd never had the problem before. I just ordered new ones TWICE with still bad products.) Its gonna cost a few bucks to send it back and then I have to wait for him to review it and then wait until he sends me a new one which could take a week or more. By then my atty will be burned out and I'll be stuck. That paired with the fact that the last three I've ordered have been bad, equals me finding a new website.

Liberty flight looks fantastic and their prices seem very good. Thanks all so much!

First, if you don't keep extra attys you live on the edge. Second, you don't give any information that indicates what would cause them to be "duds". Rob doesn't make the attys; neither does Liberty Flights. Anytime a product is defective the company requires you to return it. IMO, you are being unreasonable.
My experience with VK's has been excellent. It's a RARE occasion, but if there is an issue with anything he sells, Rob takes care of the situation FAST and FAIR. I can't ask, nor expect, more than that from any company I do business with..

Just my two cents

Sometimes, the contact post on the bottom of the atty has been pushed up a bit far to make contact on some batteries. They can be pulled out a bit. This has cured many atty's that I thought were doa. Worth a look if you still have them.

@parallax thanks tips. The OP is asking a simple question about new suppliers. It's so annoying how people on this forum find it necessary to lecture about PERSONAL preferences like customer service, taste, etc. I guess I could understand if the OP insulted the supplier's mother. And 1 more thing, if you end a post in "just my 2 cents", it's probably not worth posting at all.

Back to the original question:
I like dfw vapor, freedom smoke USA, and have had good luck with larger quantities from health cabin. Good luck.

You mean kinda like you just did?:p

ETA: I'm just teasing a bit, but in re-reading I can see how someone might take my words as sarcasm. Not my intent to be mean, here. My 'tone of voice' is not harsh.

I really wasn't trying to bash vapor kings. As I've said, I gave them three chances without saying anything at all. I understand that they are not the actual makers of the DSE901 and I did mention that I have never had a problem with them in a year and a half. All of their batteries and Eliquids have been wonderful and I've never had a complaint until now. I understood I would have to send them back but it would have been nice if he could have sent me an atty in the meantime while I send the other three back so I wouldn't have to wait. If I hadn't been a loyal customer for over a year I could understand that as being unreasonable also. Maybe I shouldn't even have mentioned the issues with vapor kings at all but I felt compelled. I would have posted this in the section for reviews but I am not allowed to post until I've posted 5 times. I've noticed quite a few people here post negative reviews on other companies so I did not feel it would be inappropriate.

As for not having atty's as back ups, I waited a little too long this time but normally I order two at a time so that I can have a back up. My second one was out and that's why I was putting in a new order.

Thanks to everyone else for the other recommendations.

I have one of the dead atty's in my hand right now. I'm not really sure what you mean though. I've tried pulling up on the part that meets the battery and it's not moving. Can you explain further please?

Sure. The best thing I've used to pull them out a bit is a drywall screw( a pair of needle nose pliers will be fine). On the bottom of your atty, on the end that screws on to your battery, there is a small metal post. This post can accidentally be pushed up a bit. Either by the manufacturer, or by over tightening on to your device. You need to get a grip on this post, and gently try to pull it out a bit. This may not be the fix for your problem, but it's worth a try. Just be careful, and do not try to rotate it to much one way or the other. You want it to come straight out.

Check out Totally Wicked E-Liquid (Mini Electronic Cigarette Accessories / Totally Wicked eLiquid), its called the Mini/dse901 on there site and they sell a single for $6.99 and a 5pk for $25 bucks. Singles have a 28 day warranty and the 5 packs you have 48hrs to check to make sure they are all good. If one is DOA then send it back and they will send you a new one and the $2 you spent to ship the dead one back to them. Only once have I sent a DOA atty back and received another DOA to replace it. I called and left a message but nobody ever called me back. So if that ever happens then just mail it back again with a letter of explanation and you should be good to go. My overall experience was a B-, customer service is more like a C- and the product quality and performance was a b+ to an A-. There are always 7.5% promo code discounts available even on top of what ever sale he happens to be running....a 20% discount will be running the whole month of January but you must have the Discount Code to get the discount. It's definitely worth checking out, especially on a 20% off sale and when you buy his products in a 5 pack.

Re Vapor Kings: Within the past 2 months I've not been able to reach anyone @ any tel # NOR email. Today, I tried (again) to send email via their forum and it wouldn't accept, had "error" all over it THREE (3) X's! WTH?
All I wanted was a SIMPLE Q answered & I can't even get that! ?

Anyone else? Or is it just me? (sarcasm intended) They've been excellent at customer service up until now. Just don't "get it". If I don't hear back within 3 days I'm just gonna quit ordering from them:(! Oh! I ALSO told them about not being able to email then on the 2 voice mails I left today...
We'll SEE what happens, argh!
