Hi, I'm Audrey. Been analog free for 6 weeks and 3 days :) I smoked for 35 years so I'm very happy to be able to say that!

I've been lurking for a few weeks, and decided to join now.

I am using a rebranded eGo-T I think (Revolver Talon). I'm considering trying a clearomizer of some kind, but all this new info is confusing!

Hi and welcome to ECF :) Congrats on quitting!!

You should be able to use any clearomizer listed as having eGo threading or 510 threading. Pick out a few different ones that are inexpensive so you can try bottom coil and top coil to see what you like :) Discountvapers.com is a good site with a large variety of inexpensive clearos.

Happy vaping!

Outstanding!

Confusion is the price of entry I think ;)

There's tons of great information here, and sometimes it's hard to find.

One little known resource is the INFOZONE

An entire section dedicated to providing core information that new users would benefit from.

"Baditude", contrary to his username, has some terrific blog entries oriented to new comers also - don't have a link handy, but expect someone will come along and point the way to his stuff...

Took a bit of digging, especially since I had his name wrong, but here's a link to Baditude's blogs

welcome to the site. I am new to. but this is the place to be. I have seen every question answered in a timely manner here. tanks are tricky. just depends on how much you vape, and what you vape.I like to fill up a tank and hit for a long period of time. day or so if possible. so I went with the nautilus by aspire. everything I read it had great reviews. I know they make smaller and dependable tanks as well. do you have a local vape store? or b&m as they are called here? do you have a certain size you would prefer. or do you just want to keep reading til you make that choice? is what my wife did. she like the evod and manger starter kit style vaporizers they look like a pen, and they are small and such. I just upgraded her tanks to the Kanger mini pro tank 3 she loves them. very dependable and hit real well. and looks good on her starter kit

Thanks, everyone!

My set up is working well for me, but my last order from the supplier for atomizers contained defective ones :( Apparently customer service is non existant as they didn't answer my complaint. I am not sure the ones from the old Joyetech eGo-T fit, so I'm kind of stuck. I'm not going to continue paying for parts that may or may not be ok, so I need to find something else.

We do have another B&M I could ask at.

I defiantly recommend getting something like an iTaste MVP 2, vamo, ect when you decide to upgrade. They last longer and give more options on your vape. You could also look into mechanical mods with an rda/rba but that takes more experience with ohms law and a little more effort to build coils and whatnot but it's definitely worth it if you have the time to read into it and the budget. If not I used an mvp 2 with a protank on it and it was a great upgrade from my ego til I got into mechs. Congrats on switching!

get a glass tank

miniprotank2v2
standard workhorse tank.
- glass
- eGo thread
- changeable mouthpiece
- common, easy-to-find replacement coilhead.

- you can get an airflow-control base for it

- you can use the miniprotank's base on a protank but to fill the space you will need to add an extra silicone cap like this:

Protank on miniprotank eGo base.

- you can dryburn and/or rewick the coils easily:

I do have a good understanding of Ohm's Law, etc, but I'm not sure I want to go that far. One thing I like about my set up is the ease of use and maintenence.

I'm considering either a Protank 2 or 3 (or the minis), an Aerotank or Nautilus Aspire. I've read the pt3 can be hard to fit correctly on the eGo batteries?

Also, I'm confused on what connection I have. I've read it's 510, but also that it's eGo specific. I can't post a pic because my computer died and I'm down to a cheap tablet ATM.
