New Member - Placed an Order Today

I just wanted to introduce myself and make a post in hopes that I will be able to post in other forums soon....

I tried a Liberty Stix e-cig from a local store and it seemed to do the trick for me. I only purchased a starter kit and do not have much invested in the system.

I came on this board and began to read the reviews and decided to purchase the kr808 from vapor4life. I ordered the VAPOR KING-Ultimate Ultimatum Automatic Kit, an extra wall charger and a number (40) of Cartomizers. I've always smoked menthol so I ordered a few different types. I still have questions about strength and I guess I'll just have to try to see what works for me. I started with 11-18 mg as a test to see.

Great forums.... lot's of information to absorb. I hope to make a few contributions in the future.

Hi Jim,

Love the V4L KR808. I started out on the 26mg and have been able to lower the nic level to 18mg and 11mg. I ordered the same package as you and really liked the PT. That was a good choice and never regretted it.

You will have to post once you've tried it out and let us know how you like it.

Hi! I am new around here too and order a kit from v4l. It arrived last week. I was a Marlboro Light Menthol Smoker for over 10 years. Anyway, I got to try a non-menthol ry4 flavor of theirs and was surprised that I preferred it over my normal menthol. Anyway, my point is ... don't be afraid to try non-menthols too because some of them were quite good and I was very surprised that I would like a non-menthol at all! Taste is a funny thing though it may be different for you! Welcome

Been trolling around for a while. Decided to go legit and register. I had been hearing ads on XM about different ads for e-cigs, but it sounded like snake oil sales. Did a little research, and found these forums. Whew. Glad I did. I looked at all the sites and products that a lot of the 'old hands' have been using, and decided to go with the MV Sideshow Hybrid. I ordered the starter kit yesterday. So we will see what we see.

I have been smoking for about 15 years and have gone from a pack a day to about a quarter pack a day. (Except on the weekends....) I am hoping this does the trick for me. It is nice to know there is such a huge wealth of info so handy.

You're going to love the sidesho. I'm addicted to them now! LOL I actually quit a pack a day 30 year habit with them. Good luck

Hi all I'm new here. Former smoker of forty years and tried and e-cig and have not turned back - I Love vaping!! I have two diff models, both autos - one from SMokeTip-good throat hit, great prices on carts(tenpack for $19.95, 17.95 if you order three or more at a time - and the carts last at least as long as one pack of analogues and I'm a heavy former smoker) and the other is from PremiumEcigarettes, really good vapor and a smoother vape - and I got lucky cuz all parts are interchangeable so I order all my carts from SmokeTip cuz of the great price

everybody had different nic needs. sometimes depends on what/how much you smoked before and sometimes has to do with TH I think. I smoked 3/4 to a pack a day of Camel filters for 25+ years and 24mg is doing it for me. I know some people who needed to up it to 36mg, don't know yet if 11mg will do it for you, we'll see...the main thing is not to get discouraged if it doesn't. If you're still craving cigarettes when you try the 11-18mg, just order some of the stronger stuff. There's no shame in smoking a couple cigarettes while you figure out what's going to work for you, we all go through a hit and miss period. Good Luck! And welcome to vaping!

Hi Jim,

Congrats on heading down the road to being a vaper and a non-smoker! I found the 510 did it for me and believe it or not, you WILL eventually want to try flavors! (I'd have laughed at anyone that told me I'd be essentially smoking a Jolly Rancher Watermelon candy yet...here I am!)

It's a learning curve. How many mg's works for you, (I was a pack a day B&H smoker for 25 years and haven't touched one in over 3 weeks...I alternate between 36mgs and 26mgs...still a 'baby' non smoker, but I'll never go back!), what flavor becomes your 'all day vape' and what ecig does it for you.

Best of luck and just remember, if somethings not doing it for you, don't give up, come back here and ask plenty of questions!

Ooh I'm so excited for you! I remember opening my V4L 808 (Vapor King). I was so excited! I didn't order a kit though. I didn't have enough money for that. I just bought on battery and a usb charger. I then later was able to buy cartos and haven't gone back to smoking! It took me about a month to quit analogs while using the Vapor King. I had help with snus along with vaping. I've been smoke free for 11 days now! I'm so happy and feel so free!

OK... It was like Christmas. I went to the post office and picked up my first package, went home and found that my second package had srrived as well. I was able to try the manual battery and the automatic. At the moment I think I like the manual battery better. I'm charging my PCC and I have not had a chance to try the PT yet.

My wife came home and we tried a few things together. She is now "hooked" as well and we just finished placing an order for her.

I ordered a few 555 in 24mg and WOW.... A little strong for me. The Nuport 18's seem to hit the spot. I'm still experimenting.

The entire order process with V4Life was very painless. They even provided a few extra little goodies that I did not order. I'm "hooked".
