New member - Problem with Istick 30w

Hello forum

My name is Thomas. I live in Denmark and have been vaping for 4 years.

I just got an istick 30w and this thing is really weird. After a full charge i used it for 10 minuttes and turned it off. Suddenly the mod turns itself on and starts activating the atty. Could not turn it off so i removed the atty and the mod powered off.

Anybody else with this issue?

I have not heard of anyone having that problem. I would return it to where you purchased it and get a new one.

Little things like this happen from time to time. Your problem with it firing by itself could be VERY dangerous, so I would get that unit out of your house and back to the shop as soon as you can. When I ordered my Cloupor T8 it worked fine for 2 hours, then stopped reading the batteries. Contacted the supplier and had a new one sent to me the next morning.

Just noticed that the battery icon sometimes is flashing the lightning like when it's charging.

Returning the unit in the morning.

Hi Thomas, I am using and abusing iStick 30W for several days now. Dropped it into snowbank this morning, still works. No issues to report. Check if it's original, not clone.

I'm having a similar problem with one of my istick 30w. Got two of them yesterday afternoon and last night hubby's started shooting up to 30watts on its own. Did this several times and even went climbing back up while he was pushing the down button. This morning it began locking and unlocking on its own and wouldn't turn off. Then it started flipping the screen on its own. Now it's down to 5 watts and won't move. I just sent an email to the vendor. I'll see what they suggest we do. We love the one that works! Great device!

Everyone I know who has one only 2 people had the same issue you're experiencing.

1. The IStick was a cheap clone he got online
2. Just a defective one and his local vape shop just swapped it out for him

It's a great device, I hope you figure this out and hope you get what you're looking for without too much frustration.
