Okay, guys, hello! My name is Eva and tadahhh, I'm new. I searched for an answer to this, and found nothing! So I'm reaching out to you guys for help! I have an istick 30w that is having firing problems! It fires amazingly! It even fires while turned off with an atomizer still screwed on! Miraculous! But, this is a serious problem. It doesn't register that there is an atomizer screwed in, as the ohmage reads 0.0. But it just keeps firing away! Any insight as to what is going on would be appreciated.

Hi Eva and welcome to the forum!

There is definitely something wrong somewhere. It shouldn't do that.

How old is it? Is it still under warranty? If so, I would get in touch with the vendor for a replacement

Hope it helps and Happy vaping!

Yes, I would definitely try to exchange your iStick for a new one.

In the meantime, I suggest you remove your atomizer whenever you're charging your device or leaving it unattended. The last thing you want is for the device to auto-fire and the built-in temp protection to fail when you're not paying attention, which could potentially lead to either battery venting, a fire, or both.
