Yes indeed the doge has a protruding pin.. I have one myself and love it on my XXIX with the hybrid top cap..[emoji41]

Yeah I think I'm going that direction. They have a derringer clone but I can't see the center pin in the pic so I don't want to risk it

Here I have the doge on my stainless BFM that also uses the hybrid top cap requiring a protruding pin.. With a .2 ohm dual 24g build it hits awesome due to the wide open airflow.. I like it and the Dark Horse..they are my favorites! [emoji12]

hello all, i wouldve put this in the rda forum but i just realized im not allowed to until 5 posts

I have a clt v2 plus rda that i LOVE! its perfect for me

i just ordered a smpl mod that should be coming in the next few weeks and i just realized, my rda might not work on a hybrid, straight to battery connection.

the clt has an adjustable center pin that i can screw out but it also loosens the center block post on the deck, so once i put the mech mod on it just pushes the center pin (and the center block respectively) so that the center pin is flush with the 510 sleeve so it may cause my battery to short.

does any one know a work around for this?

like a way to permanently fix the center block to the deck, or some where to find a center pin with a longer head so i can use it on my hybrid mod?

I wouldn't attempt a workaround but I will tell you that I have a Veritas clone and the 510 is adjustable and it stays where you set it , no center block to worry about . I use mine on my Stingray X with a direct to battery connection with no problems at all .
