Hi,my name is Terry.
I have been a smoker for 18 years - a pack and a half a day.I tried quitting before, but was unable.I just needed a good reason. Well back in December we got the new insurance policy for 2013 and it stated if you were a smoker or you used chewing tobacco in the last 6 months and you were going to continue you had to pay an extra $600 a year for insurance. But it said you could use nicotine gum.(LOOP HOLE)So i got a cig-2o 24mg starter kit and quit smoking.I also got my mom to try vaping. She has made it 1 week so far. I could not believe how good i could smell after one week of not smoking . It was an easy switch for me.Saved $600 a year and i don't have to go outside in the cold.I can vape at my bench at work.I started with a cig2o with disposable carts. Then got some blank carts and filled myself with 18mg menthol.I found it was cheaper to buy a couple 10 ml bottles. My next kit will be a 1000mah, eGo-c with a tank .I would like to try some different flavor e- juices.Any suggestions ,name of juice and website that's in the USA( for low shipping cost) LOL .I think vaping could be my new hobby,Well that's all for now.Take care and have a great day!:)

Hi Terry et. al.

I'm new too ... still trying to figure this forum out ... Lots of info on here, it's great and a little overwhelming. I tried to create my own "introducing me" thread but couldn't figure it out. So, sorry to hijack ... But I least I figured out how to post. I thought maybe it was my ipad, I'm glad it's not.
Anyway, hello everyone! And thank you all for such a great, informative resource!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! You will get a ton of help with anything you need here. I'd suggest giving Copper Creek's juice a try - their juice is fantastic. Backwoods Brew is also good. Order small sizes and try as many juices as you can. Have fun with it, and don't get discouraged. You'll experiment a lot on the way to finding your favorites.

Hi,

I'm new to all of this too and I also bought a Cig2o to start. I bought some disposables at Plaid Pantry, decided which kind I prefer and then went to a smoke shop where they led me to the Cig2o. My question is, can I buy blank carts for the cig2o? It sounds like that's what you did Terry, but I want to make sure. If that's what you did, where did you get the blanks, how much did they cost and is it working well for you? I live in Oregon...

I already like the whole vaping thing! I have been a pack+ a day smoker for 30 years. I decided to try quitting smoking (again) 5 days ago. That same day I bought my first ecig and it was so satisfying that I haven't had a cigarette since.

Ultimately, I will likely buy a 3 piece set-up, but I just spent $50 on the starter kit and 10 additional carts in 3 different flavors. With the help of the forum members, I'll research which unit to buy next. I like the idea of mixing my own juice!

I am so pleased about this entire experience, and I'm grateful for this forum! I appreciate all who comment and suggest, so thank you in advance.
Ailene
