I was wondering how many people would recognize the reference from the song and how many would recognize it from actually using one (I'm looking at you, Attypops, with your false non-recognition!). I used to love rubbing the little developer stick on them and shaking until the picture appeared.

If you think shaking is odd, check out some of the steeping threads here....

Shake it like a walkman on a jogger's hip!
Shake it like Disco Fever!
Shake it like Elvis.
Shake it like Jiffy Pop.
Shake it like an off-center flobby disc!

This is fun.

I definitely understand I should let it steep. It's just that I really wanna give it a taste straight out of the package. I'm just curious if it will steep the liquid I put in the tank, if I decide I wasn't a fan of it straight away.

If you don't want to put it back in the bottle put your tank in a ziploc baggie & squeeze the air out. Zip closed & place it in a cup of hot (not boiling) water & let sit 15 to 30 minute's, take it out & shake the tank. It should steep somewhat:)

i'm new to this, but being the mad scientist engineer, i realized right fast that a little heat could go a long way to flavor melding. what i'm using is a clay based hot/cold pack you buy at any drug store, like CVS or a Walmart, microwave it according to the directions (50 seconds for mine), then roll it around my eliquid bottle and let it sit for 15 minutes. then unwrap & reheat it according to directions (30 seconds for mine), roll it back up and let it sit until cold. i don't think theres any way to overheat things if you follow the directions for the clay pack as though you were using it for muscle sprains or aches. I havn't tried that with just a a tank, but i'm sure it would work, and you wouldn't have to mess with a plastic bag or water or whatnot. :)

Don't listen to people at B&M its like going to GNC for vitamins they hire ignorant people ( when it comes to vapeing ) you don't even have to vape to work their. Don't listen to their advice unless its actually makes sense. Always shake you liquid nicotine settles at the bottom and if you don't shake them near the end of your bottle will be a rough unvapery ( not a word) mess. So shake you liquid and it personally for me I feel it speeds up my aging process.

There are lots of things that can be done to get a NEW juice ready to vape. Steeping really helps you can warm it etc. The absolute best thing that you can do to get it ready to vape is to shake it. I have designed and have been making shakers. This has brought my DIY juice making to a whole new level and my research has shown that PROPER shaking (not using sonic energy) will do more for the flavor than anything thing else ...... So shake away, and shake a alot.

    What most people said.
But also, ESPECIALLY with Mt Baker Vapor juices, you should shake, and then if at all possible, let it SIT for a week before you need it!
Their stuff is always "fresh" and often arrives with a fairly strong "chemical" or "perfume" kind of smell - which will fade, leaving you with much better juice. I've found that MBV juice, more than most, needs to "steep". You can read ALL about steeping in other threads, and how to speed it up, or how long to wait (nobody agrees) - but the juice DOES improve over a week or two, just sitting...

I'm new here, but I started smoking a vaporizer about a week ago. I was a PAD smoker for almost ten years. I haven't smoked in six days now.

I just got an order delivered from Mt. Baker Vapor and it said to shake well before using my new e-liquids. However, when I originally went to the local vape shop, they said not to shake up the bottles because air bubbles kill nicotine.

Is that true or is it OK to shake my new bottles of liquid? Also, will shaking it speed up the steeping process?
