Hi, am new to the forum and am hoping someone can help with a recurring problem I'm having with both my innokin endurance T18e vapes.
Usually they both work fine but sometimes when I put a new coil in I have to draw really hard to get a puff. Usually I can puff quite gently and get the pleasant hit at the back of the throat and exhale the vapour, it is a pleasurable and relaxing activity.
Why sometimes when fitting a new coil do I have to draw really hard, and not get the hit at the back of the throat.
The battery is fully charged, the coil is inserted properly and I wait at least 10mins after putting liquid in for the 1st time so it is primed.
I have been raping for about 7 years so not a newbie to it.
Hope someone can help?

My thanks in advance,

Ed.

What PG/VG ratio are your eliquids? The coils for the Innokin Endura T18 and the coils for the T18E both seem to do better with about a 50/50 ratio. I make my DIY eliquids at 40PG/60VG though, and still have no issues with them.

If your ratio already is around the above, the difference in getting a satisfactory hit right away after changing a coil and other times NOT getting it...may also have to do with a difference in how tightly the cotton in the new coil is packed in it. In that case, you could try using a straight pin or a needle to poke around in the coil holes to loosen the cotton a little bit...to see if that will help.

My guess is it’s not primed enough if it’s just the first hit. With cartridges you can’t just juice em. You have to wait for the wickto absorb the juice by capilary Action and become completely saturated. Ive heard wait times in excess of half an hour. I dont use coil cartridges though so I’m just guessing. Never had this problem with a rebuildable except when I had messed up the adjustable air vent or rewicking required that it be closed (vacuum usually) and I forgot to open it

The Innokin Endura T18E set-ups he's using take regular drop in coils in the tanks. :)

He said this about priming them: "the coil is inserted properly and I wait at least 10mins after putting liquid in for the 1st time, so it is primed.
I have been raping for about 7 years so not a newbie to it." I'm sure he meant "vaping" though. ;)
