A HUGE thank you to all the posters here! My name is Jill and after reading this forum for a week , have decided to join
It can be overwhelming for someone deciding to make the transition to e-cigs, but this forum has given me all the courage to place that first order! Well, 3 orders actually. I feel like a kid in a candy store!

OK, so I needed the e-cigs, so:
My first order was from nHaler for eGo starter kit.
Decided to purchase some juice:
Went with Freedom juice from Halo Co.
Got another kit when I read the review of suppliers forum about vaping.com:
Purchased the Joye 501 starter kit and the PCC as they are having a 40% discount sale.

Hope I did OK with these selections. Thank you ALL so much for the information! Can't wait to begin vaping

i got my first PV, the Joye510, 2 days ago. ive been a pack and a half a day smoker for 13 years and in the past 2 days ive had less than 10 cigs. i couldve had NONE if i wanted. vaping truly works!

I HATE how most people when they are new want the smallest, most cigarette looking thing they can find, and and back buying more stuffs within a week, because of the limitations od small, cigarette looking devices.

I know, I was one of them. A PCC, PT, extra batteries, what a pain, just get an ego, with cartomizers and give all the other junk to less informed friends that want a PV that looks like a cigarette. and not worry about it.

The eGo kit has arrived! About killed me to slow down and read the directions, but I did. I can't believe how great the taste is. Perfect 'throat hit' for my tastes. Now I understand what you guys are talking about! lol

It came with the High Strength cartridges (24mg?) which is a bit too much for me, a pack-a-day Marlboro UL smoker for more years than I'll admit to. But the taste is soooo good, I can't resist vaping, but I'm already breaking out in a sweat!

Also, at first, it took a few attempts to realize that I was drawing too hard, and ended up with juice in my mouth. I just drank lots of water (as suggested in another thread) and the tingling is gone. I am surprised by the ease of which I get good vapor, very little suction required!

This is the beginning of a new life for me (thanks AlphaTau99) and I look forward to learning much more. I can already tell I'll have NO problem leaving analogs . . . thanks everyone!

Let us know how you like the Halo Freedom juice once you get it. I DIY most of my juice, but I tried Freedom one time and I was hooked. Just wish that I could duplicate it.

I also smoked a pack of Marlboro UL 100's per day and discovered I needed 24mg/ml in the morning and 18mg/ml during the day. That combination kept me off cigarettes. Over time you can cut the amount of nicotine or not, the choice is yours.

One last tip, when you draw on your ecig, pull the vapor into your mouth than into your lungs. That is how I smoked and was the best vaping method for me.

Glad to see you're off on such a good start. I hope it continues forever. But, if you hit a snag in the road, and most of us have, remember to come here to find the fix the problem!!!
And keep extra supplies on hand at all times (liquid & the hardware).
