Got a joyetech 510 startup kit 2 days ago from strictlyejuice for 29 bucks. After smoking for about 14 years, in 2 days I have gone from 2 packs a day down to about half a pack per day using the 510 to 'chain smoke' on.

I ordered 2 juices along with the startup kit, a flue cured and a marl mix. These are Chinese juices according to the website. I am not entirely crazy about them and can tell i will need something else, will order it soon, so my question is:

If you could have only 3 bottles of juice, what 3 would they be?

I would like one basic tobacco cig flavor, nothing perfumy like a cheap cigar, and the other 2.... whatever else...

Thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome, Techlordz!

I did the same thing, too. BUT I got wise and ordered a DIY kit and made my own. My stable is a chocolate-tobacco mix, cappuccino & strawberry creme...PG based but a lot of VG added. You'll find out soon the $$$ savings and the fun it is to create your own rather than buying ready-mades. I discovered this after practically throwing away $60 on rotten juices.

Live & learn I guess...just my 2 cents.

you know, i am actually considering it, and have begun the research into where to buy the basic stuff, but for now i will need to hit up a few premades to keep me going, i honestly think. i can't imagine myself creating 'something wonderful' on my first attempt. :)

Hey tech,

Have you tried lurking in the e-liquid geberal discussion thread? This might be a good place to compile a list of vendors.

I couldnt choose just 3 flavors - its too limiting :D I like me some variety!
Vendors however, Tasty vapor, DIYFlavorshack and either cignot (only the BASIC range of juices for me, they are hte best) or vapor station as #3
They are all US companies and all seem to 'go the extra mile'.
I've bought from other great vendors btw, but these 3 are my top picks

I don't care for DK-TAB, but I like 555 in VG, USA Mix (Marlboro) in either PG or VG, and Kent (SEC) in VG. PG liquids give my throat too much hit. I prefer mixing VG/PG 50/50. I get lots of vapor and a mild TH.

RY4 is good. Mine is VG and vapes clouds. I've tried RY4 from Cignot and Amazing Vapors and both are good. I didn't care for Virginia from AV, although some here swear by it. My wife says the vape has a mixed drink odor (not bad) that reminds her of whiskey.

I also like to add a drop of AV chocolate and/or Vanilla to any tobacco mix for a change here and there when I want an aromatic vape.

There's lots to try and I haven't scratched the surface yet. Everyone has an opinion and we are all unique.

I've been lurking for 3 days now, if i could ask in that ejuice section:

I'd like to get 3 highly recommended juices, from the same vendor (to save on shipping if there is any)
If the 3 top choices are from diff places, what best 3 combo from the same vendor would be my best bet?

Here's the thing - we can't tell you what YOU would like as we aren't you :)
I might LOVE a certain flavor meal which you would hate, and its the same for ejuices. Best bet is to go through the ELiquid reviews forums and read about 3 pages worth (yes 3 pages lol) and see what's popular. Now whats popular may not be something YOU will like, but it gives you a starting place.
We all usually find we have to sample a bunch before we find a few we really love.
Be advised that places like DIYFlavorshack and MsTs do tiny 'sample sized' bottles but Tasty Vapor does NOT - there is however a thread on his forum in ECF where you can get samples from members. Hope that was some help :)

I understand, but i do have a budget to work with right now, so I want to feel like i have made the most researched choice I can possibly make when i do finally make an order. I really can't blow 30 bucks on some juice if I am not going to like it.
I have gotten tons of useful tips and info off this forum, and I knew this would be the place to go.
Thx to all for replying.

I can guarantee that you will not like certain juices that others will like. I'd suggest doing a LOT of reading on the forum, especially where there are descriptions of flavors. Then, order some 5ml sample bottles, try them and then pull the trigger on the ones you want.

Cignot sells 5ml bottles for $3.00 in almost any flavor.

I like strictlyejuice.com they have hand crafted vg in 36mg now too. Try their 555 and RY4 two of my favorite vapes.

ok at least i have some frame of reference here, being so new. strictlyejuice is where i got my starter kit plus 2 vials of juice, being flue cured tobacco and marl USA mix.
so maybe if i can describe these 2, someone could possibly tell me what to get or look for.

the flue cured doesn't have much flavor, i guess after smoking 2 packs a day for over a decade, i'm going to need something with some taste. the juice isnt bad, its just not very strong.
the marl mix has a bit of, umm, flavor i would describe for lack of anything better, to be similar to a cheap cigar. not overpoweringly so, but it reminds me more of a cheap cigar than anything Marlboro sells.

so to kinda get me by, i been mixing a couple of drops of the marl mix along with the flue cured into my carts. this is getting me by for the moment. i can't help but think that if i get something that is 'too strong' or 'too sweet' in the future, i could mix it with the flue cured to get a better taste.

I've been seeing vapor station mentioned a lot, so i just ordered RY4 (tons of people say they use this), VS Phoenix (read an interesting review on it), Cafe Sumatra (lotsa folks say the coffee flavors are good to vape) and Dr. Vapor (for the helluvit) in small quantities to give them a test drive. 5 bucks for 10ml didn't seem to screamingly expensive, so i opted to buy 4 instead of just 3 hehe. i hope it rocks.
