Hi,
I'm new to e-cigs know 4 people who quit smoking by using them. Last sunday while at the mall came across a smoking everywhere kiosk and they let me try one and I was amazed. My husband bought me a kit for an early xmas gift and I was thrilled with it the first day. It has been awful since then. The sales person said after the first 8 hour charge the battery will stay charged all day. Mine only stay charged for about 3 hours even when not in use. I was told once the charger light turns green then the battery is fully charged, mine will not "drag" even with a new cartridge. They also told me one box of 5 cartridges = 1 carton of cigarettes. For me 1 cartridge = 4 cigarettes which = $10 for 1 box of 5 which = 1 pack. I love the e-cig when it works. But what am I doing wrong? I have double checked all connections with the charger. I have called the company 3 times and left messages for a call back and I have emailed them twice. No responses. The manual is vague. I know I just need to learn how to use it correctly but I wake up today to 2 fully charged batteries and one in the charger, 2 atomizers and I put on a fresh cartridge and got 1 drag. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I unfortunately had the same experience. They wont even give me a refund. We went back to the mall and the lady said that noone ever complained like me. I had the same problems you were mentioning. I choked it up as a learning experience, however we did throw away $200. I joined these forums and searched and searched for something better, more reliable and longer lasting. I ended up with Vapor4Life. Sooo much better than the one from the mall.

Thank you Valentine, Im so glad to know Im not the only one with this problem. Their manual is so vague and there is no support info available. After I posted here someone from their customer service called me (left them a not so polite message this morning). She said it might be my attys (2) are bad. After 1 week these shouldn't be going bad. Im so frustrated. I will look into the vapor4life. Thank you for your advise.

Sorry this has happened to you, it seems that is how many people find this site. Anyway a real popular e cig model is the joye 510. You can purchase these for 35 bucks at cignot.com. If you are not familiar with the 510, you should look it up on this forum it is well documented here. GL and Welcome!!

SE Gold is a standard RN4081 and I got some. I like the atomizers (atty), but the batteries are crap.
If hubby is even half way decent at making things have him check out the NicoStick in the Modders section. If I made one, even you could do it.
The NicoStick is what I use my RN4081 attys with.
This will get you through until you pick another model to try, if you don't want to use a Make It Yourself (MIY) model.
Just to let you know, I do use the MIY yourself---I couldn't tell you when I charged a factory made e cig battery.

What ever you decide, don't let this stop you from making the change, in the end it's more than worth it.

Also, check out how to reload the cartridges.

If you can use the technology you bought with carts and hardware from other vendors, you are so much better off than going back to SE. SE has had LOTS AND LOTS of complaints...every day someone is posting here their misgivings with some aspect of SE.

SE lies. There are countless examples of them lying about almost all aspects of their product, from claiming the FDA has approved their juices, to the woman you dealt with...likely she was TOLD to say that no one complains. They are an overpriced ripoff preying on desperate smokers who want to quit who just happen to be at the mall and have no knowledge of ecigs. They will say whatever it takes to make the sale, and then stonewall and delay when you want to return them, which many do. They are currently in court against the FDA about stating that their product is a smoking cessation device, and it may well be that their borderline criminal actions, which they arrogantly continue in spite of the court case, is going to destroy the entire PV industry, and make it so vaping is federally banned completely...in fact, I have yet to be convinced that this is not on purpose: make a ton of money, and get out while destroying everyone else's PV business.

There are MANY really excellent, honest companies out there that sell quality products and back them up well. I suggest you either learn from your mistake (I made the same one with GreenSmoke initially) and get the hardware from another vendor, or go with something inexpensive and good, like a 510, and ditch the SE technology entirely. IMHO every dollar that SE makes is another nail in our coffin as vapers. It seems they are a company with fly-by-night tactics that have somehow gained considerable success in the malls, but they have not changed their tactics. And as long as they make money, they won't have to. They are one seriously bad apple that appears to be hell bent on destroying the whole bunch. All technologies have ripoff companies that have shady agendas, but this one is literally threatening the lives of people if their actions lead to a ban. Reptiles, they are. Please don't give them more money.

I wish everybody would Google E-cigs and come to this site before they have to pay the beginners mistake at a kiosk. I wonder how many people have given up on the E-cig because of getting ripped off at the Mall. At least you are here now and can get a good price on some good equipment and be satisfied with vaping. I hate to think about somebody still smoking analogs thinking all E-cigs are the same after visiting a kiosk, when a good PV would have then off tobacco.

I won't give smoking everywhere any more of my money but my son bought a kit from them the day after me because he was so impressed with mine. I hate to tell him to be ready for dissapointment soon. I also took it to a christmas open house and wowed the smokers who were there. I have emailed and called them and told them not to buy from them. Wish I would have put off making my purchase and did research before buying. Oh well I learned and now I have great advise and support from people on this forum.
