Hello all, especially newbee's like me. I have been smoking about 15 analogs a day for many years now. It was getting really old but I knew how hard it would be to quit. I am not sure how I came accross the idea of E cigs, but being the obsesive person that I am, I read ALL the reviews and listened to all U-Tube reviews. Thank you to the Vape-Babe, and is it Doctor Vapor? Anyway, I sucked up as much technical information as I could. The lingo including atty's and cartos combined with voltages and mods was almost overwhelming, but I waded through it.
Of course, being overly anxious I purchased some cheesy device from the local smoke shop called the
Clean Electronic Cigarette. It impressed me for a couple of days, but the vapor was weak and the cartiges didn't last for me and didn't satisfy. I went in to purchase another carton of analog cigarrettes and mentioned to the owner of the shop that I was not particularly impressed with my purchase. He offered me a free disposable as a sort of balance for his karma. Nice gesture on his part. The disposable had the word Square written across the side and it had a red filter. Now that was a big improvement. Nice throat hit and lots of vapor. Suddenly I was very interested. I figured if this taste and throat feel could be replicated with a device that delivered all day long I might have something here.
Enter the Ego T. I bought mine at The Vapor Pro and I am real impressed. That research pays off. I submitted my order on Friday and the Ego T and juice arrived on Monday. There was a nice hand written thank you in the package. The e-mail updates on my order allowed me to track the package, and yes I was anxious. I couldn't wait to see if this was really going to be the solution I was looking for. It's now late in the evening and I have had two drinks and dinner. Normally I would be Jonesing heavy for a smoke. Instead, I have been vaping on the new Ego-T. It lived up to all the great reviews. I don't even want an analog. I have got a variety of great juice, but the tanks come filled and I am hard pressed to make a dent in the first tank. I will probably get anxious and drop a flavored Juice in the half empty tank just to get another taste. This is great, and I don't even want to smoke another analog. I call the regular cigarettes "little stinkys".
Only a few hours into this and I am already a convert. I also ordered a Big Kazoo from Kalamazoo Vapor Shop in Michigan. Again, already this seems like another good experience. I ordered this on Saturday and have already received a shipping confirmation. It will probably arrived tomorrow. I have a regular 510 and a low resistance (LR) atomizer coming with it, along with a bunch more juice. My total investment in all of this, for both orders, is a little over $200.00. Not only am I having fun, but I am starting to feel good about what I am doing for myself. I am also beginning to notice that there are a lot of great small companies supplying these products. Supporting them guarantees that liquid nicotine and the tools to vape it will be available to us all. It is so good that I am already getting paranoid that the government will try to take it away.
I will follow up with additional posts but I want to encourage all of the other newbee's to keep digging. I am sure there are lots of good devices out there. Don"t get discouraged. You will find something that works for you. My plan was to get the Ego T for everyday "work" use and have a nice 5 volt toy to play with at night. So far the plan is working. I can't wait to try the Big Kazoo.
Vape on everyone. I will take a "SLO-Vap" for you now. (P.S. SLO is short for San Luis Obispo, California which is where I live).
Yours,
SLO-Vap
