making the jump to the ego-t

so i ordered the ego-t for a uncle of mine who lives in canada. i ordered him a tonne of extras and two 50ml ejuice. the juice isnt great and i know he wont like it so reordered from somewhere else. mean while his ego-t is sitting here calling my name. so i gave in and tore into the box like a little kid on christmas morning (ordered him another one lol). i figured i cant ship his ego-t to him until i get his new juice here so whats another few days... anyway so i am charging the first battery as we speak. i tried my father in laws ego-t and it didnt have much th. but that could have been his juice. i will try with my various juices and see. i am SUPER EXCITED!

oh i am coming form the joye 510-t which i am selling by the way in classifies section. lots of NEW parts if anyone needs.

need help with this ego. the tanks arent like my father inlaws, these have a rubber cap thats already peirced at the end. his were plastic that the atty peirces. does this rubber pierced piece stay on or off? the taste is foul burning...thinking its the oil inside but i blew it out until i was blue in the face... i hold down the button and it blinks three times and shuts off. i am assuming its a safety becuase the atty is getting no juice...

LOL. If you feel real guilty you should be able to share the kit as mine back in May came with 2 batts 2cones 2 atty's but only 1 charger.
Otherwise a few days wait i would hope will be ok.
Just hope Santa does not bring you a lump of coal as a present !!!

still need some help. anyone have this unit? i seem to still have that burning taste and wont go away. tried to get rid of it by just dripping a few drops on the atty. the burning taste is still there a bit but seems to be dissapearing,but still tasted horrible. however the atty somttimes turns off still and blinks 3 times...seems to me that when you vape have to give a few seconds to catch up before your next vape or the atty doesnt get anough juice

I don't like the eGo tanks at all. They can be very finicky. They dull flavors and TH and can also leak alot. I like 3.7V PVs more than eGos, but if your going to stick with the eGo I would get a pack of cartos. Their much more consistant then the eGo tanks and most peOple like them more

Also I wouldn't order juice like you did. Never order big bottles of juice unless you know that you like a juice. Then you won't be stuck with a big bottle like you are. Sample packs are the way to go when you want to find something you like. Many vendors have them. I like the ones that let you pick yOur own juices for a sample pack

What ratio of PG/VG is the juice your using in the tanks. If you do use those tanks you don't want to use juices with alot of VG. They don't wick as well and that could be part of what is causing the burnt taste. I would use juices with around 20% VG. PG is much thinner than VG so 80/20 juices will wick better and not clog up attys/cartos as quickly

ya i realized that. i just assumed caramel how can ya go wrong ya know? WRONG! anyway, i have this nasty burning taste, like burning plastic.. its very annoying and ruining the taste. right now i am using the ego-t batt with my 510-t atty becase the ego-t attys taste horrible. need to figure out why the ego-t atty taste like that. if anyone has had this problem please give me some pointers.

Def try cartos. Their so much less of a hassle and work great. I use the Ressurector cartos on an EPower. They are 1.7ohm LR. For an eGo though I would use the Boge cartos. Either 3.0ohm if you want a cooler vape or the 2.0ohm for a warmer vape and more TH. many people prefer the low resistance 2.0ohms. A lot of people use the Boges on an eGo and they work well.

says ego-t on the battery. is that aunthentic? also says on box and manual. dont see any joye logos. but i never saw a joye logo on my 510-t either.

My 510-t tanks are starting to burn too now. Dam what is going on.

hi J..its those rubber caps on the end of the attys...do you have any of the solid caps? they allow for better liquid flow..

Also my attys don't have the ego- t logo but my father in laws do. Dam looks I didn't get authentic attys.

I bought all my ego-t stuff from mikeusa.com and they all have joyetech logos on them. Its the only site that i got authentic joyetech from. Use pg based liquids and i highly reccomend the soft caps. my set-up works flawlessly all day everyday. I couldnt be happier. I talked to mike this morning and at my request he said he will order soft caps to supply to his customers. I will only order supplys from him.

Okay so it's not the attys even though they are not genuine. The Bad taste was coming from the cartridges with the rubber stopper. Have to order some of the other plastic cartridges instead. Finally I can enjoy it.

Never mind it was the oil in the atty. the rubber stopper ones are working just fine and aren't making that tatse anymore.

New attys contain a primer that needs to be blown out and wiped off. It tastes nasty. Blow out well then dont inhale the first 5-6 hits or so until that taste goes away.

ya that primer stuff is nasty. i blew it out a lot and wiped off what i could. still lasted quit a long time. love this thing now.
