For the price I was paying for just 2 batteries locally I got 4 here. Oh yeah AND 20 sheets of cotton, ceramic tweezers and 10m of wire lol. Only downfall is I ordered it on Nov 2nd and don't expect to see it for another couple weeks lol.
Here's a link to the cotton and you can youtube rewicking/dry burning evod. It's very easy the top pops right off, they are easy to rebuild too if you want to try that sometime.
$1.29 Authentic Delivape Japanese Organic Cotton for RBA Atomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 50*60mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

What gauge wire did you buy?

Dear Jim, what was the name of your friends mod/atomizer that you Didn't like? Sometimes all it takes are some adjustments to make it really work for you.
Pens & such are good for backups but don't offer the options of a modern APV..

I have no idea, it was almost a year ago. All I know that it was definitely boxed shaped, but that's it.

From what you are describing as your vaping preferences, I would also recommend an evod setup. That was my first step up from cig-sized (4 years ago).

As of now I think that's what I'll go for. I'll probably buy the knock off evod tonight to complement my knock off Ego ce4, lol. And here I thought I was just going to buy one e-cig and that would be good enough

Oh the wire I got was for a different device, the evod knock off comes with 2.5 Ohm I think so if you like that get like 32 awg 6 wraps around 2mm bit. if you want something stronger just remove a wrap or use 30 awg.

I made the error of buying 10m of 2 types of wire I knew nothing about not knowing thats like 100+ coils each easy... enough to last years lol.... hope I like nichrome. I'd get 3m of 32 awg kanthal to try first. Honestly I wish I had just stuck with evod's, once you get in the realm of sub ohm you end buying new stuff all the time chasing either better clouds or flavour lol.

The halo kit you looked at is probably the same thing you just bought for 5 dollars. Yes get the evod kit simple set up. If you decide later on to advance up the vape latter you will have an idea of what you like and what you want to improve. I would also look at different ohm coils for your devices that way you can try different watts without changing your devices and might find something you like better.

Yeah and sadly that's all new vapers will be able to buy soon. Over priced big tobacco junk that's taxed through the roof most likely.

Why is that? Is the FDA getting lobbied by big tobacco to make vape illegal? If so, I would imagine many countries overseas won't really care about FDA rulings, only thing that will change is they will have lie on the customs form to avoid it being confiscated.

Also what do you guys think would be the cheapest way to replace coils on the Ego ce4 I ordered? Should I just buy a 5 pack of pre assembled coil/tank on eBay for around $5? I ordered the evod and 5 coils from that website that was posted on my thread, so when those go bad I will learn how to rebuild.

Yea I would just order a 5pack of coils. Not sure about big tobacco lobbing but a lot of people want to blame them but I think big pharmacy is lobbying harder for a ban.

I wonder if it has anything to do with stuff like the ... oil and other medicated Vapes? Maybe they're scared less people will use anti depressants and anxiety meds.

Hi everyone I'm relatively new to vaping and there are a few questions I have that don't make much sense to me. So I was really hoping you guys can help me out.

First of all I vape because i want to smoke a cigarette without actually smoking a cigarette so naturally I've been using cig-a-likes off and on since they closely resemble cigarettes. Is there any reason I should invest in one of those bigger vape pens or mods? I tried a buddies box mod and it seemed as though in order to smoke this thing i had to basically do a (b)ong hit for it to work, I couldn't just do a cigarette style inhale. Maybe I did something wrong but I'm not sure.

The thing that puzzles me the most is supposedly e-cigs are last gen tech and the new vaporizers are new tech but in order for them to work good I have to change coils every few days? Currently I've been smoking on the same Mark 10 e cig for about 2-3 weeks with refilling the same cartomizer. It seems that e-cigs are way more cost effective? I've seen some coils in my local store sell for about $2-$3 so it would seem kind of expensive to be changing those out all the time, or having to wait for shipping if ordered online.

Maybe but mostly stop smoking aids like chantix patches and gum big money in that just heard a report out of england I think that stated e-cig use was up but the sale of stop smoking aids were down.

Well I just got my Ego ce4 in today and I'm impressed. The throat hit is so much better and I don't have to inhale forever as I did with the mark ten. It said to charge for 8 hours first use, but I wasn't about to wait that long so I let the charging light turn green and puffed away.

Do any of you guys know approximately how long I can expect the battery and 1.6 ml e juice to last in this thing if I puff on it throughout the day? Will the battery last all day with constant use?

I also should be getting my evod in a few weeks, fasttech website shows shipped so I'm hoping before Christmas. Hopefully that comes with variable voltage but I forgot to check before I placed my order.

Really depends how much you vape. Once you have 2 you won't have to worry about it. You'll know soon enough how long it lasts. How big is it mAh?

1100mah. It feels very light weight though.
Yeah it should last all day, may have to charge it twice a day. The 650mAh you have coming should last long enough till it's done charging. I had 1000mAh and charged it twice before charging the 650, could do it 3x but don't want your back up to die and have nothing.

Cool, the evod I have coming is also an 1100. I picked the blue color and after placing the order I realized it was the bigger battery. If it lasts all day that would be cool, I was really getting tired of refilling and charging my e-cig 3-4 times a day.
