Hi everyone, I am fairly new to E-cigs, and I absolutely love them and am obsessed by them. Ive been spending a decent amount of money mainly because I got ripped by SE in the mall and bought not one but two of their products for my wife and I. After figuring out its just a 4081 ive been ordering extra parts and juice rather than just using the prefilled carts they try to sell you on (a whole pack of cigs...yeah right!). Now that I found these forums and a decent US based supplier I am no longer paying that kind of money for my gear. I currently have 4081 stuff as well as a "copper" from atmosusa.biz and absolutely LOVE it. But the main thing is that I have gone 3 straight weeks without an analog. Thank you to everyone in this forum for helping educate me on the subject. Im not ready to quit completely but I know I feel WAY better than I did just a month ago.

Perez, Welcome to ECF! A lot of people get taken in by SE, the product isn't bad but prices and sales talk are! Glad you and your wife are cutting back on analogs, you will feel the difference very soon. Make it harder on yourself to have a smoke..put the analogs in another room, the ashtray somewhere else and go outside. When it becomes more of a pain to get up and have a smoke, you will find you pick up the E-cig instead. One day I forgot to go outside for my analog..that was 5 months ago!
Post your questions and read a lot. Soon you will be helping others.:)

I know just how you feel, initally, about having bought your first PV, but I'll tell you one good thing about the PV called Smoking Everywhere that are sold in the Malls and the njoy/NPro that's sold at Smoker Friendly. They're both introducing the smoking public to these Personal Vaporers (PV) and getting them off tobacco.

I never asked for a refund from NJoy because the $75 I spent on that kit was exactly what I WOULD otherwise have spent on two cartons of cigarettes that day. NJoy is responsible for my quitting smoking and I'll be forever grateful to them for that. Thank you Njoy!!! (And Njoy...let us know when you start selling your juices, they're soooo good)

I'm enjoying my JOYE 501 and Janty Stick now, and both buying and making my own juice, so much fun.

3 weeks w/o an analog....congratulations! Have fun! :D

I agree with you completely, although i feel like i ended up paying way to much for my original purchase they are responsible for getting me off analogs. Not to mention the people running the franchise down here were very nice and even let me "trade up" to a nicer unit when i realized i didnt like the SE 2.0 and like my wifes 3.0 much better. I might actually have to use them in the future for attys if i cant wait for some in the mail. It is comforting that i can drive down the road and pick one up (for double the price) if i have to.

My first e-cig was an NPro as well, and it's a good little device.....but soon was looking for one with a bigger cartridge, so went to an 801 penstyle. Got tired of buying those $14-18 batteries, so went to Janty Stick! Bingo! Yah, I'm done buying now, just buying ahead.
But Npro was the catalyst for me, from day one, and I hated that juice (I was getting most of it in my mouth!) Didn't know what I was doing, at all. But every once in awhile I'd get a really good puff. Just enough to think maybe this could work. I put the battery in for a charge, went and did a RYO, and it tasted even worse than the juice! My really sweet, mild, good-tasting $12# Golden Harvest tobacco was forever ruined! Who knew? That was my very last cigarette, I should have kept it and framed it. But it stunk so bad.....I went for 3 days without any smoke before I finally told my husband I had spent $80 on an electronic cigarette. He stopped smoking that day, just quit cold, still uses his Snus, but he's fine with that. He didn't like the taste of that juice, either, or the hassle.
I just went and looked, TWF, I still have one cartful of that juice, I ordered "regular tobacco", but that's all I can find on the name. I wonder if it was RY3 0r RY4. That's when I found Johnson Creek Original tobacco, and really did love that, and loved that it was made in Wisconsin, but now they don't make it anymore, they changed all their formulas. So I DIY my own recipe for JC original in VG. I posted it in DIY under "Johnson Creek Original, anyone?" Post number 9. Hint of Nutty caramel with real tobacco. Very mild for allday everyday juice. I still like a good "real" tobacco taste.
MK, you're almost at six months! That will be a big day, I just hit mine last 2 weeks.
So PerezDAP, keep up the good work, and Welcome from me, also. Had it not been for ECF I'd probably be still wiping juice off my tongue with my sleeve! Not a bit pleasant.
