Hello. I'm new to ECF and am currently awaiting my first order.

I'm excited about moving away from cigarettes. And I think I can be successful with vaping. The gum and patches were not good for me. I like the physical act of smoking.

I've just reached the point where I'm sick of exposing other to second hand smoke. Especially my wife. And I'm not enjoying the tate of tobacco like I used too.

Looking forward to getting my order. I decided to start with an Ego twist 650, Vision Spinner 1300, Vision Ego clearomizer 2.0, and Kanger Mini Pro tank 2 v2. Also ordered some different e juices. Was tempted to start with the Evic. But decided to start a little simpler.

Thanks all for the informative posts that helped me take the plunge.

It appears you have done your homework.....nice first order. For me I had to keep the ciggies close at hand for security....I didn't light one up...but it felt better knowing they were right there. Jump into this forum and read and read and post any problems or feelings you are going through. Post just to post and you will get over the hill. When I ordered my first kit, I didn't have the hope of quitting like you....I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop....funny thing is I never picked up another ciggie....still on my dresser which is an improvement from my coat pocket. I really don't have a desire for one. If you happen to light up.....don't be too hard on yourself....count the ones you don't smoke. Remember you're getting the nicotine you have become addicted to along with the other 4000 chemicals...then you have to deal with the mind games your brain is going to play. Stay close and welcome to the happy road of vaping.

Thank you all. Chimsweep; I'm keeping a pack of cig near too... sorta like a safety blanket for smokers I guess lol.
I haven't smoked a cig since Thurs evening. It's Sunday evening now. Doing pretty well so far. Still tempted though. Vaping has made it far easier than patches or gum did for me.
Talking about addiction, I'm already shopping for different mods, including having looked at pipes.
Overall really happy. Thank guys.
