Have been a hard core smoker for over 40 years and have tried to quit many times. Started vaping about a month ago and have given up analogs almost entirely. Will smoke one on occasion for nostalgia sake, but they're quickly losing their appeal. Let's hope it a switch for good.

Congrats edenscuba for making the switch to vaping. Forty years is a long time and to be able to decrease your need to smoke that dramatically says alot. Hopefully in time you will be done with them for good and they will no longer have their hooks in ya. You'll enjoy the freedom that we as smokers never felt before. Congrats brotha! Stoked for you. I went from Smoking to Chewing to Snus (Real Swedish Snus) to Vaping now for 4 days. Havent had the desire for anything in the last 4 days beside my Vape. Feels so good after 4 days. I know itll just get better!

U r right. Don't like the way they feel between my fingers any more, or the taste. Only thing i still like about analogs is the way they smell if someone else lights one. Since they don't taste or smell like that when i light one, it doesn't make me want to light one, too. Just really like the smell of someone else smokinh.

Welcome! 45 years for me and quit almost instantly! Isn't it amazing that something that was such a good friend and tasted so good for so long can get kicked to the curb so quickly. Best of luck to you and enjoy the forums.

It's nice how vaping can convert even the most hard core smokers. I use to smoke 3+ packs a day and know people who do the same and still like vaping better.

Being cig free is amazing! been smoking for over 20 yrs. Many failed attempts but vaping has me totally free, haven't thought about smoking in 4 months.
