its not a bad start.. since you already purchased it... if you do like it you might want to come back on the forum and start looking for lower priced parts that are compatible with your battery model ... the site states the compatibility as: Compatible with the DSC 103, njoy Pro, RN4081 and most super mini ecigarettes

I heard mixed reviews on these, but like I said it's a good start and the rn4081 is what would be your main focus in your search....

if you find that you don't like them I am sure people will be posting their suggestions as well.....

while you wait for your first order... peruse this forum and take some mental notes... after you experienced your ecig for a short time.... post back any questions you may have.......

I say this because it is so much easier to get the big picture once you have an ecig in your hand and had some one on one time with it

good luck

Thanks guys I wish I had found this site first and not last. I didn't even know these things were out there until Tuesday. E liquid planet was first site I saw. So thought I would try them. Then found this forum. It didn't take long to see that the 510 what ever that is was the popular item. But at least one person thinks it is a good start. So maybe I didn't totally screw up.

No you didn't totally screw up :D the supplier you bought from has good reviews... a screw up would be a Smoke Everywhere purchase :D..... the 510 is a popular model... and maybe in the future you will end up trying them and possibly other models as well :D ..... if you are just looking for an ecig to stick with and you find you like your first purchase.. I would say STICK with that one for a bit.... only follow popularity if you find yourself dissatisfied with what you got :D....

and just remember JUST because someone likes it doesn't mean you will and VV...

I have ordered the
The Solar Flare 2012 E-Cig Kit
I have never used ecig before and know nothing about them. Is this a good choice for new user. [...]

Using the term "analog" makes me think that maybe you've read some of the posts here in the forum, so I'm curious:

Why did you order your kit before you asked a question about it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to hassle you, and I'm not saying anything negative about your kit. It's just that I see this kind of post all the time, and I wonder what causes it.

With me, I bought my first PV in a truckstop (NCig NPro, the same type that you bought). After that I became curious enough to do some Google-ing and found this forum.

I've seen similar posts where someone says they've been reading the forums, but then they say they bought some crazy expensive kit from the dark side of the moon, and it should be delivered in a few months... <--- exaggeration)

Again, I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just curious about the process.

I'm pretty sure that no matter which one you buy you'll end up buying another! And another... LOL... I'm trying to keep my purchases down, but damn does that cigar flavor with a dropof apple taste good with my coffee in the morning. LOL

Yeah, and the OP smoked 2-1/2 packs per day, so he can spend about $250 per month on vaping and still save money! (at least, that's what he can tell his significant other)

I just wanted to say welcome and wish you good luck. You will realize when you start vaping with your Solar Flare 2012 whether it meets your needs or not. If it doesn't don't give up because there are a number of variables that can be addressed as I have been finding out as a newbie. Nicotine content, TH, and vapor all come into play. You can find out a lot in these forums and the experienced members are very helpful in answering your questions.

Good luck vaping and stick with it. We long time smokers really need to get off the analogs because our lungs are headed for disatrous problems.

Thanks guys for all the replies.

For quasimod I don't get upset over what someone ask or says. I know I got things back words. I found the ecig by accident thought I would give it a try. So I ordered from them.
Then thought I would see if there was a forum for these things and yes I have sense been reading a lot. I didn't see the one I bought so thought I would ask.

Hi all =) im new to the forums, well two days of reading, first day of posting. And I certainly fall into the category aforementioned by quasimod; sadly. I kick myself for not doing more homework before buying, but all in all learning some tips and tricks with my lil SE rn4081 gold im liking it more. Was just wondering if anyone knows where to find black batteries with blue Leds/double size carts for these things, i burn thru the pre fills too fast!
