You should try Diy. Its fun tinkering with it. I mixed a juice up once thinking it was going to be so good and it tasted like corn on the cob with some pepper mmmmmmmm

Believe me, i will be right there when the time (AKA money) is right. The lady is not working since she is pregnant and this will be number 3. As if money wasn't tight enough! Finally deciding on a career this fall, schooling and all, so eventually i will be where i want to be. I have always been a tinkerer (like I'm sure you have been) and i can't wait to bring that facet of my life to this new hobby of mine.

Oh congrats on the new little one.
Once you spend the initial investment and get a couple of recipe's you like going that investment will come back. You can make the same flavors over and over and over. I think it costs me a little over 2 dollars to make a 30 ml bottle

I'm probably wrong on that price. I haven't actually sat down and figured up how much it costs me to make a bottle. Its probably cheaper then that

Even at $2 per that is great news to hear. Half of the fun of doing everything yourself is the feeling you get from doing it; the other half is definitely the cost savings. I enjoy being my own mechanic, carpenter, electrician and many other things. I save tons of money and the job is always done right. Once i get myself a good setup i may be PM'ing you for tips!

P.S. thanks for the congratulations!

OK sounds great. I'm new to this to but have researched and read a lot. Still learning new tricks but every time I try a new mix with a new trick it gets better.

I'm sure by time I'm ready you will be a pro. If there's anything i could offer you I would recommend keeping a journal of your mixes and results, if you haven't done so already. I really hope to start DIYing soon; my mind is overflowing with ideas.

I've been keeping logs on my phone. I need to write it all down. Just in case my phone decides its time to retire.

Its always a good idea. I lost a lot of photos when my main SD card dissappeared a few years ago. All my mobile camera photos were being saved on it. Early shots of my first son for the better part of two years were lost, save for the ones i had uploaded to social media. I've honestly never made peace with it.

That's certainty a different scenario, but it's always a good idea to backup any information that is important to you. I'd hate to see you lose your recipes!
