Hi everyone, my name is Relli and I just started using the vapour today. I honestly don't know if I'm doing it right as I have been feeling sick and dizzy. I don't think I'm over doing it but I do drag on it hard and inhale....maybe that's wrong I don't know....also what flavours do everyone recommend as I'm using musk and I'm finding it a bit sickening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as honestly I'm feeling like a loser and wanting to give up cause of the way I'm feeling atm.

Hi and welcome. "Sick and dizzy" sounds like too much nicotine. Can you tell us a) what kind of gear did you buy; b)what strength e-juice are you vaping; and c) how much did you smoke. PS... you're also dehydrated. vaping is hard or your fluid balance because both PG and VG-- the main components of juice-- are hygroscopic and absorb water from your mucous membranes. Drink water. Lots of water.

Welcome Relli!

What type of cigarette are you using?

The nicotine strength in your e liquid may be too higher if you are getting nicotine OD type symptoms.

Don't give up. There is a set up out there for everyone and the people on here can certainly help you find what works for you.

I love quite sweet flavours. At the moment the flavour I'm using all day is hodges home brew Christmas edition. It's a lovely creamy mint flavour.

Do you have any vape shops nearby where you can try various brands and flavours? It is a very personal thing and what works for others may not work for you.

I hope you find something you like :)

Hello @Relli and welcome to the forum. It's possible you have the nicotine level too high in your juice. To be successful in vape you need 3 things... 1. Desire, 2. Flavor you enjoy, and 3. Proper nicotine level. (which can be decided by how much and what type you smoked and the gear you are using to vape).

Here is a search for nicotine sick : Search Results for Query: nicotine sick | E-Cigarette Forum[node]=39 Sick and dizzy are two possible symptoms when you are too high on the nicotine. Also stay hydrated, drink lots of water.

Other possible issues : A list of symptoms when quitting tobacco and changing to an ecigarette

It may seem like a lot and perhaps not worth the bother but in a couple days I will be 1 year free of the cigs and it has been a life changer for me. Everything gets better.

For flavors I would recommend a trip to a local vape shop to sample the juices. It will probably be less expensive to buy online but you need to learn what you enjoy.

One issue of flavors is your taste buds need time to recover from the cigs. I started on a cinnamon/green apple as I needed a strong flavor to wake my muted taste buds. I then went into fruits and a month later I was able to enjoy most creams.

You CAN do it! Don't be shy there are many here to help you.
