Not as yet not sure what i need to buy
OK...

Let me tell you something.

(deep breath)....

The e-cig industry is full of sharks. Big, fat sharks that swim the seas convincing people their products are 'the best' or 'No.1 rated' or a load of other things.

DO NOT BUY from these companies. They use fake reviews, fake comparison websites, and re-brand existing products to then charge you an excessive price.

I cannot name the evil people behind all this, but some of them are even revered within the industry as 'influential people'.... I'm afraid it's a massive con.

Most of us on here use products made by;
Joyetech Kanger Innokin
Sigelei Aspire ELeaf
IPV (Pioneer 4 U) Smok and others.

and there are more less mainstream products made by companies like
Provape (very high quality)
Vaporshark (higher quality/innovative)

If the shop you are considering using to buy your hardware appears to sell none of these manufacturers, there is a very high chance it is a 'Brand' e-cig where everything is made by the people above except you have the pleasure of paying up to 4 times as much.

Thanks for that say i smoke 10 aday how long would the nicotine last me what size does it come on

10 a day... awesome... you are going to be able to switch easier than some, with a bit of will-power.

Most liquid comes in 10ml bottles (and other bigger sizes too) and new users who use regular equipment might get 2-3 days from a bottle.
In the old days, we got 3-4 days from a bottle, but we used higher nicotine and lower power (less vapor).

:)

This is a great place to browse around and start seeing things you may like and what's available. It's one of the top vendors, and while I don't always end up ordering from them, I check them often as they usually have the new products first and most of their stock is current useful gear.

Have you ever tried an e-cig before? Not sure what to recommend without knowing more. For what it's worth I've saved around $4,500 in three years but I haven't done it the cheap way by any means.

Unfortunately, you're in a country that has conflicting laws depending on what state you're in. This means you may be able to purchase e-liquid with nicotine locally, or you may need to order it from a business outside of your state (and possibly country) which is going to increase the initial cost due to shipping fees. Don't let it dampen your spirits as after you get started, you'll find that the costs are rather minimal compared to snagging a pack of smokes at the corner store.

Novices sometimes balk at the price it costs to start vaping. I say determine how much you spent per month on cigarettes. At $5 - $10 a pack, a pack-a-day smoker spends $150 to $300 a month to smoke. With that budget in mind, you should be able to find a reasonably priced setup for $100 or less. Then consider that once you have your gear or hardware, your subsequent costs per month will be only for replacement coils for your tanks and e-liquid (about $60 - $70 a month). You'll be saving money when you are vaping.

E-liquid comes in 10ml, 20ml, 30ml, 60ml, or 120ml bottles. Prices vary, but expect to pay between $20 - $30 for 30ml. Unless you are "subohming" (more about that term later), expect to consume about 3 - 5 ml of e-liquid a day.

The e-liquid comes in different nicotine strengths. Zero-nicotine, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg. Choose the strength applicable to the number of cigarettes you smoked a day.

1/2 pack per day or less = 6 mg nicotine
    1 ppd = 12 mg
    1 1/2 ppd = 18 mg
    2 ppd = 24 mg
Many newcomers to vaping start out with a "tobacco" flavor, but in truth there are few if any which will actually taste like a cigarette. Most newcomers quickly switch to a non-tobacco flavor like fruit, desert, or candy flavor. In fact, finding a flavor that you like is probably more important than the gear you choose to be successful in stopping smoking.
