I'm back into vaping since May 27th. I had an eGo setup I got in 2007 but fizzled out from using it due to dip tobacco addiction. Ten years later I have given it up and supplemented my habit with vaping, and I'm in love. All the time I dipped those years, and I have nothing to show for it. I can hold my sub ohm mod in my hand for years. And that's one week of dip. I'm done dipping.

I'm almost half a century old so I'm "owlish". Haven't arrived but fairly close I think.

I probably won't post any threads as all the questions I have so far have been asked. If I get stuck I'll throw something up.

I know what dipping is wrt vaping but I had to look it up to see what it was in relation to tobacco. The info was all about chew & snuff, I have to wonder why they call it dipping.

Dipping refers to minced tobacco in a round tin, like Skoal or Copenhagen. Chew is more descriptive of leaf tobacco or pouch tobacco like Red Man or Levi Garrett.

It's crazy. My energy levels and sleep patterns have altered drastically. And both in a good way. I'm eating more regularly as in a schedule and drinking less caffeine.

Hey Owl,

All those changes sound fantastic. I'm pretty amazed how different vaping and tobacco are... Appetite (which is good, I never had one, shocker at 2-3 ppd) sleep, reduced medications (that are metabolized along tobacco pathways), financial independence (specially as you get into building and jucing), it's fantastic. Congrats, and welcome!

I'm still trying to find out why our legislators are trying to kill vaping. If you know, seriously, please tell me.

I believe that is what I lacked in 2007. I believe if a person wants to quit then they need to want to quit. "Yeah, I want to quit but...". Yup. Yet I completely understand that mindset. I think once a person starts to hate their habit they will find a way to get rid of it.
