So I am in the market for a new device/tank setup, I am looking for a dual 18650 with TC for SS in as small a form factor as possible. Any suggestions?

So far possible candidate include:
smok GX2/4 (in 2 battery mode)
SMOK Pro Color (I could not care less about the LED's, just the normal vape functions)
Sigeli Kaos
Vaporesso Revenger - not sure I like that much plastic on a mod though

For tank I am strongly leaning toward a SMOK Big Baby Beast (which comes with both SMOK devices above), but open to other suggestions as long as it has a rebuildable dual coil. Easy refilling and building are preferred traits here. Pretty much everything has good flavor and vapor these days.

Smoant Battlestar is the device I'd recommend to anyone, it's durable, beautiful, and performs well in tc and power mode. The Charon is also a great mod from what I understand, I don't own one but have read lots about it. I have a Charon touchscreen mod on the way, it also seems nice if your looking for that sort of thing. It's quite large though from what I understand

I've heard that SMOK mods can be a bit iffy with TC. Quite a few budget brands are, really. Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf seem to be better than most for low-end TC, although this isn't the only place I've seen the Battlestar recommended, so that might be a good option as well.

Aspire Speeder has some satisfied tc owner reports. I've read Pico's do a good job with tc as well.

Aspire's a good one to mention. My Aspire nx75 does a decent job of TC, along with my Pico. I'd say my Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini is marginally better, but not by much. I don't have any two battery devices so I can't recommend anything specific.

Oh and for a tank, the uwell crown is a solid performer and has a rebuildable deck available

The Charon looks pretty interesting, will definitely have to add that to my possibilities list. I don't think I would like the odd shape of the Battlestar though using my finger rather than thumb to press the button. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Uwell Crown a single coil only RBA?

I support th battle star choice. As for the big baby beast it has drop in coils. Are you rebuilding the drop ins? If so I am interested in the process

As Letitia mentioned the Big Baby Beast (and Baby Beast since they share coils) has an available RBA head that is what I would be using. I currently have been using the TFV4 RBA and it's has been pretty good.

Aspire Speeder has some satisfied tc owner reports. I've read Pico's do a good job with tc as well.

This looks like it could be interesting as well. I will give this a closer look too.

Thanks for the great suggestions so far guys. Anyone have anything else to mention?

Yes the crown rba is a single coil. I think the shape of the Battlestar is a huge plus. It is much more stable when you set it down because of the shape and it's very comfortable in the hand.

As already mentioned, if TC is your primary vape style, just avoid the Smok mods. Smoant and Aspire seem to get the best feedback from users about that topic. The Smok tanks offer only Kanthal factory coils, so the RBA is really the only option for SS TC. If you're going to build and wick your own coils, you might as well get a dedicated RTA. They're just plain easier to build on.

Very good points. Taking this into consideration and doing more research, I think I will likely go with a Lost Vapes Paranormal 75c for the mod. I love the concept of the new DNA C series having the dedicated "select" button to make navigation so much easier than pretty much everything else out there. I couldn't care less about the color but that third button seems like pure win. Plus DNA boards are very reliable for TC from everything I have ever heard or read.

So now I need to decide on a tank. You suggest a "dedicated RTA", but anything specific? What I like about the SMOK tanks is top fill and can access the coil/build deck without completely emptying the tank. Are there any dedicated tanks with those features that you recommend?

Have you looked at the VOOPOO Drag 157? It is an amazing mod with tons of very good reviews. It is on sale now at MaxVaping.com for $54.95 and comes in a couple very cool colors. If you use the WELCOME10 discount code at checkout you get 10% off your first order with them plus free shipping. They also have the SMOK BBB that you are looking at as well as the newer Crown III.

My Steam Crave RTA's can be rewicked/coiled without emptying the tanks.

Are you new to building? Whether you are or not, I'd give careful consideration to an OBS Engine. dual velocity deck that's an easy to build and dead simple to wick, top fill, and top air make for an essentially leak proof tank. I think performance for flavor and even decent clouds is outstanding. The Armoamizer series also offers some nice dual coil solutions, and there is the new Aromamizer supreme v2 out. If you want to give a single coil a shot there's the Serpent SMM with a clever design and nice performance. For something with interchangeable decks and made for clouds, although does surprisingly well for flavor, is the Pharaoh RTA.

I picked up a GX 2/4 a couple weeks ago. It has a *great* form factor in 2 battery mode. Unfortunately, it's a huge piece of crap.

I had a few issues with the mod. The first is/was the 510 threading. I don't know why but my Wotofo Vaporous will not screw into the GX 2/4 .. it screws onto all my other mods, though. All my other toppers worked on the GX 2/4 so I don't know what the deal is but it was annoying.

About a week in the feel on the fire button changed. It started to feel less crisp and I wondered how long it would last. But then I dropped the mod from about waste high onto carpet and it totally died. It turns on but turns off as soon as you hit the fire button.
