New mod and much better finish method

Finished a new mod, and tried a new type of wax.
This one is made to look more like a traditional pipe.
MUCH better finish quality.
Not done with stem yet.

What a beauty! Which wax did you change from and to? It looks like a much deeper shine. I see two horizontal likes in the bowl, is that in three sections as well?

A high temp wax made for lathe projects, used buffer.
There is a door held on with magnets for access to battery.

Sweet buffing there, that is for sure. So the bowl is actually nine pieces of wood?

6 pieces, plus a sleeve to cover carto.
I will make a stem when I get a chance, ruined the one I built for unit.

Wow that is .....en. Make something like that and go to the Renaissance Festival.

It's even big enough to do a Bottom Feeder too. And depending on how you hold it, you could get away with making it look like there isn't even a hole to push to bottle to dispense liquid.

I have a real good friend from a completely different forum who makes tobacco Pipes out of all sorts of special woods he goes out and forages. He usually sells them for $250 on up.

Tobacco pipes are crazy expensive.
