New mod thingee update after a week

Hi, Cheers to everyone,

So I got my istick pico with the MELO III atomizer and I'm using some 50/50 0.3 nic tobacco flavor. It is pretty cool. Holy cow did I get some mean dry burning hits, though. I have been just using an ego-C, sucking it into my mouth and then inhaling, so I was doing that for a while, and that did NOT work well.

So I started sucking it straight to my trembling lungs, and at first I think:
1) I wasn't sucking hard enough because I was hesitant
2) I didn't have the little windows open enough to let air in

That's when I got the worst yucky burns. But then I got used to it, and it's been very enjoyable.

Get me, though. I go FOREVER using old ego-C's. Now I get this thing and I go off and order this super fancy tobacco flavor for like $29 / 30 ml. I'm such a sucker. It is called like Black Note, and the packaging looked so much like boutique whisky bottles, I "had to" buy it. (I'm sure it will be delicious, but you get my point)

All of a sudden I'm a vape poseur!

Try setting the power lower. If you're getting burning hits you're vaping at too high a setting.

We'll you sound like your taking to it like a duck to water. We've all had more than one dry hit so welcome to the MTLVWSOC (mouth to lung variable watt sub ohm club).
I'm sure you're going to like that juice.

Ah yes, the joy of trying to draw with the air closed. Great for first priming the coil without power, not so much when pressing the fire button. My only advice is if things still taste a bit funky, you might have to replace the coil. If you did scorch it, the flavor will never be quite right with that burned coil again.

I've never used Black note, but know it's favored by many. Enjoy!
