New Modder - First Mod Help

So I posted on another thread about a mod type that I was looking for but could not find. Well as I have always done I decided if I can't find it I'll just make it myself.

What I'm looking to make :

Mechanical Box mod
Aluminum box
Dual 18650 in parallel capabilities
Big dome style button on the side.
Has to be able to handle 20+ amps.

I'm not sure what I need to accomplish this. I have browsed this forum but... Well.... It's a bit confusing What materials would I need and what tools would I need to accomplish this. I have a drill press and a lot of tools available. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help me take my first step into the modding world

For the box most people use hammond boxes...they come in many different sizes. For all the other parts they are avaliable on digikey and mouser electronics.

now that you know where to get the box the next part is just mechanics!

check out my thread on the subject, those are just bare-bones mechs but you will get a clear idea on how they should work and get creative

I will be keeping this thread alive on the basis that my own exploration might help someone else.

Day one has consisted of going to the local hardware store and gathering what supplies I could.

Weller 40w soldering iron
18 gauge insulated copper
Lead free rosin core solder

Ok I think I have found everything else I need, Can anyone double check and tell me if this is right?
