For those waiting and watching for the release of the DNA20D, here's some specs and features to wet your drool factor ...

- High efficiency synchronous boost converter with a max 20W range.

- Max output current 6A. (woohoo!!)

- Common input/output ground.

- OLED shows volts, watts, batt level, ohms, and activation (brightens). The screen can be turned on or off. (awesome for stealth mode vaping)

- Has master on/off control (5 clicks).

- Brandon also said there is a screen flip easter egg. Not exactly sure what that is so am waiting for a reply for that, but I'm thinking it is either portrait vs landscape flip, or the screen can be flipped upside down and will read upright.

- Requires high drain batt. (minimum 8A discharge rating if you plan on using the higher wattage range)

- The wiring for the input/output and up/down wattage control is through pin (like the DNA12). You can also wire in a trimmer in lieu of the up/down buttons.

- Onboard protection has over volt/under volt, shorted atty/ burned out atty, thermal protection. (heads up - like with the DNA12, must be cautious with input +/- bare wire ends touching and reverse polarity else you'll fry the board) (tip: always wrap all bare wire ends with electrical or Kapton tape and only remove the tape when you're ready to make a connection with the wire, and wire in an external fuse in line with the batt for protection)

- Width, height, and depth of the OLED screen is 26.5mm x 8mm x 1.4mm, active area is 18mm x 3.5mm.

- Expected release is before Christmas and price point is $50 with discounts given for multi-board purchase.

oh and yeah... I see a Lexi-DNA20D in my future. :)

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Great update mamu, now all we need is the dimensions of the board itself. Really length and thickness, as I bet the width is 18mm. :)

edit: from the screen dimensions, the board looks to be 125% the length of the screen, so ~1 1/4". Thickness looks to be... not very thick.

A few more specs...

- If you want to wire in a trimmer, you'll need a 1K - 10K ohm POT (same as with the DNA12).

- The screen flip will turn the screen text 180 degrees with a series of button presses if you need a different orientation within the enclosure.

- You can use either the onboard power and up/down wattage control buttons, or wire your own.

Looking at the board with the attached screen, I really like that the screen is not fixed directly to the board. With it being flexible, we can position the screen how we want with the board flipped to the back or twisted to the side.

Thanks for the info, guys! This board looks absolutely perfect for my planned mod!

I know we can use a trimmer if we like, but from the looks of the board (though I'm not sure if that is a final production unit) there's also pins so that you could use switches for up/down buttons, which I would much prefer to a pot.

Will this be the case with the final product? If so, I know what I'm asking for for Christmas!
