Very nice mods smokin, you are a creative man,I like the colours, they are very friendly. If you should look the weight of these things they will be a exelent mod!:)

Thanks my friend :) - yes the hydrant weighs 210g with batteries/atomiser and the blow(peace) pipe weighs around 150g with batteries/atomiser.... but then in terms of durability, the shell should last a lifetime with any luck! ;)

That 2nd mod is an e-peace pipe if I ever saw one. At 21cm., if the idea of peace didn't prevail, you could always use it as a club to stun the fighting cavemen that do not understand peace.

Mind if I borrow that pic as a lol pic for all the argument threads around here?

How about a vid of that clarinet mod?

Hey Nico - I really like the idea of it being a peace pipe - could definitely use one around here from time to time when tensions begin to rise! And the dual functionality would always come in handy.... :)

Feel free to borrow it of course!

Will try and do a new video for the clarinet mod in the week I reckon.... I've got some other projects I'm trying to finish first ;)

I thought the mod was great, but the vid is a gem :)

I was thinking buster keaton ...

Finally, an accurate e-cig demo. Chaplin would have been proud of you.

LOL thats awesome!

Kudos! Keep the dog away from that thing!

Hey tim ......brilliant....good fun mods.......and great fun vid.:):D

That is great. Where there is a will.....

Some heavy duty stuff there, great stuff, oh and loved the vid..lol

I like Nico's idea of calling the second one a piece pipe......we have been needing one of those around here lately!

Ah, thanks guys for all your kind comments!!:) I was going for the Chaplin/Keaton idea, but annoyingly couldn't find any music to go along with it.... definitely lovin the idea of the 'peace pipe'!

In the Hydrant vid I was actually using a 1 month old mini pipe atomiser sanded to reveal the stainless steel shell, which still seems to (amazingly) put out plenty of vapour. I can't wait to try a new atomiser in it, I'm sure the results will be very good! :D

Hi Liquid (CM!) -

Thanks for that link - I'll have to try and add one of those to the next video if I do one... ;)

Oh I forgot to say I have also been working on the 'BB' which will be the little brother to the 'GG', but it's still in the process of being made at the moment so I will try and show some pictures later in the week....

any guesses for the name (quite obvious if you think about it)? :)

Thanks for the comments guys - the hydrant certainly would come in handy in a brawl that's for sure - doubles up nicely as a knuckleduster!!;)

Here is a video of the hydrant in action.... please excuse the slightly hyperactive, very silly, shortsighted inventor :p

Thanks so much for the giggle a very loud giggle, almost a gaufawh
( i am not sure, if that is how it is spelled)
very cute and quite funny

I buy 10. as long as a video of you doing the demo, comes with it

lol - glad the video gave you a giggle! :)

The funny thing was that my wife's prescription glasses I was wearing in the video are actually so strong that I genuinely couldn't see the wood from the trees! They're antique spectacles from WWII designed for wearing inside a gas mask... I felt the gas mask might have been a bit over the top and would have definitely affected my nicotine intake! :p

If I ever do make some more, I'll certainly consider your offer - and of course a copy of the video will be included as a compulsory introduction for all new owners! lol

Although coper and brass have great colors, copper in particular has a nasty taste and the oxides get all over your hands and from there into your mouth - yuk! So how about first shining them with copper cleaner then coating with a spray lacquer.

Hammerite would be another nice finish.

Another idea would be to use electrolysis to coat the case in chromium, silver, or even gold :)

There is a new method using a brush as the positive electrode, rather a complete bath - less solution required.

How to make the gold plating solution:

Nice find Kinabaloo - a gold plated mod for the Gods!! :D

I love the cheesy music that comes in about half way through that 1st video!

I also see the kits can be used to gold plate almost anything - even your ipod (!!)- and at just over 30 quid they're not too dear either... a 24 carat bling bling ecig pimp!! :p

Well now Imeo the GG could definitely live up to its name with this piece of kit and a bit of patience... the very first gold plated ecig mod - now that would be a real head turner! ;)

A 90-degree angle tube (copper or brass) might be nice for the peace-pipe where the atty connects. Top-middle:

Actually that is one that I have been thinking on - I was originally thinking the 90 degree variant could be called 'the flute' for obvious reasons... now that would be funny - the puffing pied e-piper waltzing through London town would no doubt get many a confused look from passers by!! :D

Exelent idea Smokin, I was thinking of that just the time I pick the name.

I desided not to do it (my first choice was a special for aluminium paint) but then I thought that all paints and all "covers" have a little problem. They are very thin films that in time they will be corrupted. Its a very nice look for the beggining and then starts the problem. I said it will be imortal and simple and thats the way I will keep it. I want after 5 years from now the GG lookS new, like the time someone bought it:):)

I agree Imeo - personally I find Gold sometimes looks quite tacky - more of a silver fan myself - also if it doesn't need breaking don't fix it.... or something like that! :) Immortality rules supreme!!

Thanks Lee! :)

For about a week I was pretty obsessed - unable to sleep until this project had been finished!! Inclination, time, space and tools are necessary, and be warned it can be almost as addictive as nicotine itself... in fact I hardly vaped during the process so you could say it was a successful harm reduction technique (although I should steer away from making any WHO baiting potentially misleading claims)!!

In my defence, surely breathing in small metal particles in the process can't be any worse for you than smoking now can it?? lol :p
