The "leaking" is through the mouthpiece? This can be due to several factors: 1 take slower, longer drags. If you suck on it too hard, it'll become a juice straw. 2. Low voltage for the head: If you're using a 2.1/2.5 ohm head it might not be vaporizing fast enough. 3. Not enough air flow: Again, it becomes a juice straw. Unscrew it a tad from your battery.

Next question

What kind of juice?

some flavors will cause issues with plastic tanks (normally they leak on the outside - commonly called cracking)
mint, citrus, cinnamon and cola flavors to name a few

Does it occur most often after it has been lying on it's side?

some clearos over wick juice when the vacuum inside is broken.
if this is the cause just get creative and make a stand for your battery - I have shop full of tools, so I just drill holes in scrap lumber, for those without tools, hobbyist clay, make whatever shape you want, wrap the end of your battery in clear cling wrap, push into clay to make proper size hole - wiggle it around to make it oversized for ease of use (more if baking - it will shrink up some) make sure you pull out the clear plastic (this is used to keep clay from being forced into the battery)

oh, and

All my T3 clearomisers leaked, sadly.

As far as I know, the MT3 uses the same base and atomiser set-up.

Last time I had a really bad leaking clearomiser (smok ARO) I put in an extra wick (2.5mm) instead of the thin flavour wicks used in these types of design. It now has approx. 4.5mm of wick in a vapes really solidly. The extra wick sits on top of the coil.
i.m.o. "Flavour" wicks do not improve the flavour (maybe even the opposite) but they can help with leaking.

My Kanger Mt3 clearomizer has a leaking problem as well. I know it is leaking from the center as the juice will collect in the positive connection area of the battery. I cannot isolate the problem to the wick or the seal between the coil head and the center tube of the clearomizer. It is odd that it will not leak for a period of time, and then for some unknown reason, I get the gurgling and find that it has leaked.
