I got some 26guage Nickel&Chromium wire - Looking to make 1.1 to 1.5 ohm build - Have 1mm and up to 2.4mm drivers to make coils with, was thinking 2.4m w/12 wraps = 1.2 or 1.5 ohm build, any thoughts?

Yes, I have Ohm meter but I dont want to waste any wire as it was expensive from my local vape shop. Any help/advice would be great!

I just downloaded a free app for my android phone that will tell me exactly what length of wire to use and how many loops to create to make as close to the desired Ohm's as I want to get to. If you have an android phone you may want to try it out to see if it's going to work for you, it's description from the developer is as follows:
Vaper's Toolbox was designed specifically for those vaper's who are wanting to build their own coils. It helps newcomers and experts alike with the complex calculations required to build the perfect coil. It currently consists of four tools:
1. Wire Cutter helps you calculate how long each piece of coil wire needs to be to achieve the proper resistance. Supports single, dual, triple, and quad coil design. Wire types supported are Kanthal (A-1, A, and D) as well as Nichrome (60 and 80). Wire Gauges supported are AWG 22, 24, 26 - 36. Recently added are 6 sizes of Kanthal A-1 Ribbon wire. It can also display calculated lengths in inches, cm, mm, and even fractional inches (4 3/16).
2. Coil Builder helps determine how many wraps the coil needs to be using the correct length of wire.
Using the wire length from Wire Cutter along with the coil diameter and estimated length of the leads, it will calculate the exact number of wraps you should use. Diameter size can be input as inches, cm, or mm, and can be set independently of the length settings.
3. Power Tool calculate either voltage or wattage at which you are vaping based on your inputs and setting.
Basically a simple Ohm's Law calculator designed to help determine the power or voltage you should use.
4. Converter is a new conversion tool that can convert inches to mm and back as well as convert fractions to decimals.
Try it out. We think you will agree that Vaper's Toolbox is a must have for any e-cigarette enthusiast that is planning on building their own coils.
This app should work with any android version 2.2 or later.

It's located at

I use it because I like to experiment with different resistances in the coils that I play with but didn't want to 1. Have to remember how many loops of xx guage wire it takes to do xx Ohm resistances and I hate to waste money on wire to find out that I didn't cut a piece long enough or make enough loops in it to hit my desired resistance. Like I said though, for this free app you'd need an android phone. Not sure if there is the equivalent of it on the web to be used in a browser or not, there may be, but I've not gone looking for it since I have my phone with me most of the time.

If this doesn't help, then my apologies.
