It really confused me that Kanger released the subox and it wasn't temp control. They have temp control coils for the tank but the mod it comes with can't use them. Like ...?
Just an accident waiting to happen as you are a good example. Companies like Kanger are entry level devices sold to the masses so they should be more careful with these things. I wonder, is there any warnings in the instructions of the subox to make sure people do not try to use the temp coils with it?
Honestly I'm not surprised that you ended up doing that. I mean really. You buy a box mod that comes with a tank specifically for it. You go out and buy some coils made specifically for that unit/tank. Why the hell shouldn't they work? Bad call on Kangers end imo.
Don't get me wrong, I love Kanger stuff. I know others will say "well you should do your research" and all that stuff but thing is that a lot of noobs don't know this stuff or that they even have to bother researching. Kanger stuff is directed at noobs so ya....
