Well, after finishing my anecdotal experience I have finally made an account here!
So I am not really a smoker. I will enjoy one or two every few months with a drink or two. Not exactly addicted to it. Which also makes my anecdote slightly useless as I never got addicted to cigarettes.
So I saw the ecig and thought that it would be a nice thing to get some nicotene in for thrapeutic benefits.
This simpl means when I need to go balls to the wall work 36 hours nap 12 and repeat for a week I would have a second stimulant to keep me alive next to the caffeine drip
which is why no coffee, coke or energy drinks to keep my tolerances always low.
So I tried out the Healthy Alternative To Smoking (HATS) which is available here and... it was really really nice! Little vapur production but amazing taste (damn you carto tanks!) so I went through about 10 while I waited on 70ml of fluid a cheap 1200mah battery and a protank 3 with some spare coils.
The protank was amazing in vapour production but no taste
nothing on the level at least of the cheapo. But it was far better at delivering nicotene!
So I enjoyed my entire supply in 2 months... It turned into a habit very very quickly. Then once I realised that it had becme a habit, I wanted to know how easy it would be to stop. Would I receive any cravings?
The answer to that is - slightly. The cravings were more because I enjoyed the motions more than anything else. I happily went a week without and then when my supply ran out beginning of Oct. I had completely forgotten about it a week later!
If the post office wasn't so useless I would have ordered a mini nautilus to chase that wonderful flavour... (Along with lots and lots more fluid!)
What I did notice comparing vaping time with not vaping time.
I really am beginning to believe that nicotene isn't the major addictive compound in cigarettes... Which is utterly disgusting.
How ecigs can be considered for banning while allowing the tobacco to be adultered to make it more addictive is shocking!
Lung function was affected, as the studies have shown. Vape and for 15 - 20min my lungs had definitely decreased function. I do need to get a preak flow meter to confirm this but I can imagine it was lowered significantly, enough to be noticeble at least to me.
More mucus was also produced while vaping was a habit. This disappeared after stopping for 2 days.
TL;DR Non-smoker vaped. Stopping was as easy as starting in this case at least. Wants a nautilus mini and new liquid.
