New "old ecig" user here - Hi!

Just wanted to say hi.. Reading the forums here, as I was an old ecig user, way back when they first started out.. mmm maybe 7 years ago. My friend got me back into them by telling me about the blu cigs.. I tried the tobacco one.. tasted to me like it was coffee.. hmm.. Since then.. I recently purchased this:

Not sure how you guys feel on ebay.. or I'd post the link up for it.. supposedly its a E Juice Flavor "Dune Rider" (18mg 30 ml) and the eGo c comes with a marlboro flavor?? hmm.. the ego t will be here next Tues.. the other, well I didn't realize it at the time, but it's from the EU, and will be here sometime in June! Not sure on any of this.. I still smoke regular smokes.. hmm.. but I am willing to try it out again. It's this or quit cold turkey.. and umm.. I's still on the line on quitting. I know I need to, as I have joined the ymca and I have been smoking for a mighty long time.. haha! Love the smilies.. <3

Welcome to ECF , and if you stick with it , you will eventually , ween yourself off the regular ones . If your not getting satisfied , try raising the nic level on your juices . You will lower them , as time goes by . I have been at this for two years , started with 24 mg. nic juice . Now at 0 nic , and DIY only . I still vape , because I like big plumes of vapor . And it sort of relaxes me .

I think the waiting on them to come in the mail is alright.. I still have smokes for now haha!! but I hope I can let go of them and stick with this for at least a long time commitment. It's time I started living right, and since changing my diet and becoming more active, well.. this chickie needs to get away from smoking. You are right tho.. I love the smoke and relaxing.. Cross your fingers for me!! Hope I will like these. Tech ideas are always improving, and when I walked away from it last time, I told me perhaps they will become better in the future.. So I am willing to try..

Wondering tho, if anyone can hook me up to some awesome cheap err juice sites.. (sure hope I won't get terms mixed up.. I love my ninja blending too..)

I hear ya on still smoking regular cigarettes occasionally. I'm stuck on my wake up one, and the before bed one. Thankfully have pushed out the rest of the ones throughout the day.

Hey girl welcome to the forum! IMHO, if going cold turkey is something you can handle, then that is what you should do.
But if your like me and have done all the other things, then is working real well for me (so far). Taken major edge off the nic craving, satisfies that hand to month habit and of course...vapor!

I normally smoke some tobacco, non menthol.. but.. after peeping thru your link, Dave.. Gesh!! These things have come a long! way..

Thanks Bman1959!! I tell me I will go cold turkey all the time.. It doesn't work.. I earned my user name years before I got on the net and well.. I don't drink.. I don't do the bars, I smoke. Its what makes me happy. However, when I am attempting to do any sit ups and push ups or running etc.. there is sadly no room for a trailing lit cig I do love my smoke.. but see, I want better things in my life.. so I can stick around longer for my kids.. and perhaps find someone to share in my little world with me.. the real smokes have to go.. I will keep hanging in.. there is always hope.. and I got plenty right now.. except I wish the fed ex man would hurry up and get here.. to think there is a chance to find some err.. liquid camel haha!! omg!! I can't wait!!

Back in the day I started on ecigs, there was only (lets see if I remember!!) a nasty tobacco, cherry, mint, and berry.. they all tasted crappy, and it was pretty much like the blu smokes.. except I went thru 4 or 5 units, and they all had issues. That is what eventually stopped me last time, was faulty equipment over time and the taste. Eventually, the charger or the battery went poof.. and then I did.. I hope badly, that the 2 orders I placed yesterday, top the blu smokes.. I have the disposible blu, and well, it vaps nice, but the taste is crap.. I am sorry, but I bought it going with my old thinking, yeps tobacco flavoring.. except it tastes like I am smoking my coffee.. mmmmm... but think I will experiment on the flavors..

I was either Smoky Blue or Rider Afterthought.. and yes!!! those older ecigs omg!!!! but I tried my best to stick them thru... I can't wait for my new "smokes" to get here now.. I do love to tinker.. and now that we can mod them out.. even tho I am on a limited income.. I'm blow these away!!

Have tried the Cold turkey route many times and fail also, I resend my previous advice and suggest to go straight to vaping. No sense in adding more stress and possible failure. Got to get into this with a positive attitude.
I am on day 3 and had an analog yesterday, not because I needed one, just to see if the was the same as before. Surprised me, tasted like crap. I did get tobacco flavors and can't say their anything like tobacco. But like Dave180, taste buds are not up to par.

Bman, I think I will enjoy it, this time! Things have changed so much since they first came out.. and yes, I have to agree with ya! The blu disposable I have, talking with my friend, she bought the kit.. not like mine, says that it works for her.. however, she is smoking it as a cig substitute, and regretting she is now vaping.. I don't know if you can go down on nic levels with the blu, but with the ones I ordered..
I just hope they will work at least decently.. (anyone want to give some advise on what I got??) and then I hope to gradually taper off the nic levels.. I don't smoke more than a pack a day now.. and even when I try to cut back on smokes, all it does is make me feel bad.. I can't even cut back, and it's like wow.. so yes.. I hope this will work.. but I am determined, I do not want to go back to cigarettes once I start on this. no matter what.

well.. I hope this one that is coming first (ego t) will last for a couple weeks, till my ego c comes.. then will hope it won't die on me.. I saw some neat gizmos on ebay, the holders for car use.. and it comes with a hard case too, but I am thinking I want to keep it in an upright position anytime possible? I hope, once I get my finances sorted, I can find some better batteries.. not sure if what I have is enough yet or?? but the ego t is coming with the 1300 mah??

From what I have read 100 mAh is equal to 1 hour of use. So 1300 mAh would be 13 hours. But that depends on how light or heavy you use it.

Not sure.. however, I do not consider myself a heavy smoker now..
Like I said, rarely do I go thru more than a pack a day, and I have in my head now, that I only want to use this as a way to stop smoking for now, till I can go 0 in the nicotine.. Once I find a few good flavors, then perhaps I can smoke to enjoy it again.. I have a feeling it won't be a long wait, as I am ready now to stop smoking..

Agreed. You'll amaze yourself with what flavors you end up liking.

I don't like watermelons AT ALL. But... for some reason... 12 mg Watermelon flavor is my absolute favorite. Lol.

They are selling watermelon jolly rancher juice? 5 bottles I think 10 mil? for 20.00.
They also have all kinds of gizmo's.. will have to go see what all they have..
