Hi to all. First time member to any Forum so bit of a learning curve for me. 73 today and have smoked for 60 of those years up until the 1st of January this year when I thought that I would try to quit smoking for the nth time by giving the vape liquids a try. Anyway I haven't had a cigarette since then, so changing the nicotine delivery method has worked for me. For the past month or so I have researched all the diy information that I could find on the web, and have to date made a few small batches of e liquid, ok ish so far. The thing that brought me to this forum was the amount of material that I have read talking about the safety aspect of some of the chemicals used in the flavours. This is in fact what got me started on the diy path. I am hoping that I may be able to learn, from people far more knowledgeable than me on this forum, the better choices to make when choosing or mixing flavours.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I have to agree, there are a lot of friendly helpful folks on here. Lord knows I have had loads of help from them and no one has told me I have reached the end of their help. I am like others and DIY my own juice. I finally got tired of trying to find the magic flavor and now I vape unflavored 60pg x 40vg with 5mg nicotine. It works for me and my coils are easy to maintain. I use an rta (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) and only have to change the wicking cotton every 4 or 5 days. Here is a link for our DIY juice section. Hope to see ya around for many more birthdays.
