Hello everyone, new here and loving the forum for all the support and information that is provided to all that enter. I smoked 2-3 PAD for over 30 years. I just started vaping in the past three weeks. I finally decided that my health had declined so rapidly in the past 2 years, I was killing myself. (Diabetic, mini-stroke…) Did I say I am less than 50 years old?

I first started with Logic disposable, I liked it, but it wasn't a strong vape. I tried a few others including a Blu kit, not bad but less vapor than the logic. The next thing I tried was a V2 kit with extra-long batteries, this helped tremendously, and I was able to cut down to less than ½ a pack a day the first week with the V2 kit. I found the forum after I got the last kit, read some posts that helped me. So, I had to see if there was something better for me. I ordered a Volcano Inferno Super Battery, this was delivered today. I also shopped locally and found a Mini Vivi Nova; I tried it and found it to be “just right” just a bit too big to take away from the house.

I was wondering what smaller size battery would work for me and what type of delivery is best for those times when you are out and about. I smoked a lot, basically a chain-smoker; I am down to 4-5 per day as of today. I can already tell that the bigger battery made a difference. Within the week, I hope to report that I have quit for good. Any recommendations are welcome. I am looking at either a Mini Ego or trying to find a VV twist that is small. Oh, and I like girly stuff. LOL

Welcome! Hopefully vaping will become your only smoking that you do ;) i was going to suggest the mini ego. It would be really small and work with your vivi nova. The smallest twist battery your going to find is 650mah which is going to be somewhat smaller than your mega battery. The mini battery wont last that long but if your not away from the home for long then it should be good

For out of the house, if you think a ViVi Nova is too big and you like clearomizers, you might try the ViVi Mini or a CE3 clearomizer. A plain old cartomizer doesn't take up much room either.

I have a PV big enough to wap people on the head if needs be, and I go out with it all the time.

LOL , I thought it might look like a weapon. I just will take the V2 out but hate the carts so I think I will order the Clearomizers

Hi Karen I'm fairly new myself been steadily vapping for about 8 months now. For on the go like you are looking for I would recommend the new spinner batteries that MadVapes has. They have a few different sizes I'm sure one of them will fit your needs. I'm currently using a mini ego style battery paired with a redux clearomizer with a 1.5ohm dual coil wick assembly which you can also find on MadVapes site. Is awesome that you have been able to cut down like you have. I feel with the set up I just mentioned and an e liquid you enjoy vapping that you'll be able to get off analogs for good. You for sure want an e liquid that is in the 24mg range at first, that will go a long way to satisfying your cravings nicotine wise. I say this based apon your pack a day numbers. Anyhow give them a look and good luck with getting free of the killer sticks once and for all.

Hi and welcome! I am over 50 and love vaping so much I no longer care if I look armed. I use a tank on a 650mah regular eGo when I go out (I call that configuration "Binky), and a tank on a 1000mah Twist at home (I have a couple, but the red one is "Pretty Baby," due to the blown glass tip I got for my 100th tobacco-free day). Yes, Pretty Baby looks ridiculous, but I don't smoke cigarettes anymore, so I don't give a flying fruit bat. ;)

Thank you, I will go to the MadVapes site and check it out. 24mg Might work, I thought that might be high, I am not sure, but I will get a small bottle and check it out.

Just chiming in- When I started, I wanted something that looked and 'felt' like an cigarette because that's what 30 years of lighting up taught me. Very quickly though, I started wanting bigger and better. Now I carry ten pounds of gear with me just to go check the mail... and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Point is, vaping can, and should be, fun. You might end up limiting yourself by staying in a certain comfort zone. This is a whole new world opening to you- experiment- try new things and find your perfect fit.

Oh, I don't mind it not looking like a cigarette, I just can't imagine trying to drive with that big bat and the nova on top, can't be easy gripping it between my teeth! I have lists of stuff I want to try and stuff still on the way in the mail. Mostly, liquid and a couple of clearomizers. I don't go anywhere without at least one in my mouth and another in my pocket or bag. Thank goodness I have really big handbags. Where do you guys put all that gear?? LOL

Don't laugh but my 'to go' kit is two eGo cases that I carry in a black zippered Similac bag.
Yes- I have a little mini-me at home ;-)

Not laughing, great idea to use the bag, did your "mini-me"
influence your decision to quit smoking?

I would love to be noble and say that he was the only reason, but I did it for a lot of reasons. I smoked 2-3 packs a day and was always tired and out of breath. Guess I just got sick of feeling like crap all the time.
